00:49come out-fight you physically,
00:51è un altro tipo di threat,
00:52e quindi è proprio lì dove Atriox era stato.
00:54che avevano sempre avuto,
01:48Questo deve sentire come una bipedale tangente.
01:59RUN, LITTLE DEMONS!
02:01I wanted to have a reason for you to fear him.
02:04And the best way to do that is to have Isabelle tell you who he is and why we need
02:09to run.
02:10Spartans, thank God. We have to get out of here.
02:13When we first meet Isabelle, she shows up in a way that we haven't seen AIs behave in Halo before.
02:18She's freaked out.
02:20When we created Isabelle, we wanted to make a different kind of AI.
02:23AIs are generally perfection.
02:24We wanted a flawed AI from the outset.
02:27We wanted her to be a little bit more rough around the edges.
02:29She's logistic, so she's kind of like the tank girl.
02:32Ripley from AIs 2 was a big influence in that.
02:36I need her down there with me.
02:38Isabelle?
02:39Sorry, sir. After recent battle reports, you should have figured out that there are rules around here.
02:44I intend to break one.
02:47We had a real task set out for us in finding not only the person who will be Isabelle, but
02:53what that voice is.
02:54And I think we couldn't have had a better actress for the job.
02:57Sir, yes, sir.
02:58With the way that we shoot mocap, it has to be the same person who we're scanning for our character
03:04model.
03:04So this person not only has to look like the character, but has to act like the character and has
03:09to sound like the character.
03:10To get the likeness and fidelity that we really wanted, the technology demands that you essentially cast who you want
03:17to be that character.
03:19It's a creative choice, but it's also to showcase the best technology that's available out there.
03:25When it works, it works so well.
03:26And you just get everything at once and you really breathe life into that character.
03:32It's almost like directing a movie, right? At the end of the day, I mean, cinematics has always been somewhat
03:35like that, but now you've actually got us in the studio directing these actors.
03:40The process has just changed so much.
03:43I really think those first cinematics of the original Halo Wars just kind of raised the bar for the industry
03:48as a whole, and that's what we're doing again.
03:50I think it's important not to miss, you know, the point that people love these characters that we're creating, and
03:55that requires us spending time and effort making sure that they're well-rounded and real.
04:01From the first word on the page, to the first design we draw, to the actors that breathe life into
04:07them, to the final lighting and animation parts that we do here, every single piece needs to fall into place.
04:12There's a lot of people out there that expect a lot from this franchise.
04:16That to me is the most exciting thing when you are putting a face to a brand new character.
04:22You're creating a new digital life, which is pretty awesome.
04:33As we go back to the University of Canada now, we're still in the New York Times.
04:35It feels like you're a mutant, you're a mutant.
04:35Grazie a tutti.
