00:11At PSX 2016, we debuted our new trailer for Starblood Arena,
00:16and we've had some pretty amazing reception for it.
00:19But we wanted to give you a little bit more information on exactly what's in it
00:23and kind of point out some of the things you may have missed.
00:26So without further ado, let's get down to business.
00:33This is so awesome!
00:47Kind of a dramatic intro, huh?
00:49So we wanted to give you the idea of the types of arenas that you'd be fighting in.
00:53Some of them are small, and some of them are really large.
00:57Each one supports from two to eight different players
00:59and takes place in a variety of different alien environments.
01:05We continue to work on improvements to the game as we approach our launch in the spring.
01:09One of the changes that we've made since recording the trailer is in the HUD.
01:13The HUD is pretty simple, which is great,
01:16but we felt that it didn't properly convey all of the information you need.
01:20In the new HUD, we show individual information for everything that's critical to survive the arena.
01:24Your heavy weapon charge, missiles, mines, your primary ammo, secondary ammo, even your shields.
01:30It's all right there in the center of your field of view,
01:32so you don't even need to look around to know what's up.
01:39As I mentioned, up to eight players can do battle in Starblood Arena matches.
01:44Battle Royales are what we call Carnage mode.
01:46We also support 4v4 Team Carnage,
01:49and all game modes can be played both in ranked and player-created unranked matches.
01:55Each of the nine pilots in Starblood Arena have distinctly different gameplay styles.
02:00Here's Alice in Buck.
02:02Alice specializes in mid-range combat,
02:05basically annihilating her enemies with her micro-nuke missiles.
02:08She also has flat cannons and grenade launchers for backup.
02:12And even though she's not the fastest ship around, she is pretty tough.
02:17And then there's Buck.
02:18He's the big blue guy that loves guns.
02:21So he has twin-mounted chain guns that basically blaze through any enemy.
02:27He also has a very powerful forward shield that gets even more powerful the more damage he does.
02:33So if you're the kind of person that likes holding down both triggers and flying right into danger,
02:37Buck's the guy for you.
02:41Here we have Elsa and Gundo.
02:44Elsa is our soldier pilot and has the most balanced stats.
02:48Her ship is equipped with Inferno guns as her primary,
02:51and a secondary thermoglance that does more damage the more heat it builds up.
02:55Her streak missiles are nasty at range and should never be underestimated.
02:59Elsa is about precision,
03:00and the more skilled you are at aiming, the better the damage you'll do.
03:03Next, we have Gundo, our resident cyborg pilot of the gunship.
03:07He's a Swiss army knife of weapons.
03:09Once you learn his tricks, he's great at any range.
03:11His triple-shot photon guns do good damage at medium range,
03:15his ion discharger is a beast at close range,
03:17and his streak multi-missiles will seal the deal at a distance.
03:20Oh, and don't forget that each ship in Starblood Arena has a unique heavy weapon
03:25that charges over time and does massive damage when used properly.
03:43Unlocks? Yeah, we got those.
03:44As you play Starblood Arena,
03:46you'll earn credits that you can use to unlock a wide variety of customization items
03:50that range from silly and fun to aggressive and intimidating.
03:53There are also various mods for all the different ships
03:55that alter and improve their shields, weapons, and overall performance.
03:59Not only can you keep it classy, but you'll also be keeping it dangerous.
04:02For those of you who like to fly solo,
04:04we call our single-player mode Burn Circuit.
04:07It'll take you and your chosen pilot
04:08through a series of difficult challenges and various game modes.
04:11You may have a round of carnage against dangerous AI bots,
04:15a round of team carnage with AI wingmen at your side,
04:17and plenty more as you work your way through the circuit.
04:20Who knows?
04:21You might even unlock something cool
04:22when you complete Burn Circuit with each pilot.
04:25So there you have it.
04:27Thank you for watching our video,
04:28and thank you so much for all the positive feedback.
04:31It really means the world to us.
