Check out this wild moment as a jungle trek takes an unexpected turn when an orangutan decides to help itself to a traveller’s bag.
Alex Brunton, from Dublin, Ireland, was on a four day trek in the Sumatran jungle in Indonesia when a wild orangutan suddenly grabbed one of their bags.
The video shows the animal calmly going through the contents, even stopping to drink from a water bottle, before carrying the bag up into its nest high in the jungle canopy.
The surprising encounter left the group stunned as the orangutan casually claimed the bag as its own.
One user commented: ‘That orangutan just went shopping.’
Another added: ‘Bro really said this is mine now.’
