00:00You've talked a lot about previously the sort of concept of what we have now is called healthcare
00:05and yet it's not really optimizing your health.
00:09It's really all about once you get sick, then we'll treat you.
00:13But there's nothing in the interim that really is helping people learn what they should do
00:18or what preventative things they need.
00:20I mean, that would save so much money if people never got to the place
00:23where they were diagnosed with a horrible illness.
00:26If you look at the healthcare system in the U.S.,
00:28we spend something like $5 trillion on health.
00:30It's the largest sector in the largest country in the world.
00:35And of that $5 trillion, about 7% or 80% of that is being spent just on helping us
00:42stay alive
00:43with chronic illness or late-diagnosed disease.
00:46So you can imagine just how much more efficient healthcare could be if we caught everything early
00:54and where the answer was sometimes much less invasive treatment or just lifestyle modification.
