-
Russia has unveiled a stainless-steel “Cybervan” with a jaw-dropping 100-year warranty, beating Tesla to market and instantly sparking global attention. This video explores how the Cybervan’s futuristic design, ultra-durable materials, and bold engineering claims stack up against Tesla’s Cybertruck and other electric commercial vehicles. Is this a serious EV innovation, a geopolitical statement, or pure hype? We break down the specs, strategy, and what it could mean for the future of the electric van market and global EV competition.
Döküm
00:00A Russian electric car company has built a Tesla Cybervan.
00:04Now, it's not technically called a Tesla, but come on.
00:07This thing is obviously, it's obviously attempting to look like a Tesla Cybertruck.
00:13It does look like one, and it looks pretty good.
00:15I think it looks better than the Cybertruck, actually.
00:18It also does have one thing the Cybertruck doesn't, and that is a 100-year warranty.
00:24I mean, are you really going to apply for warranty in 99 years?
00:28Probably not.
00:29Now, the 100-year warranty is on the stainless steel panels, so clearly there's the belief
00:35that this stainless steel, it's going to last a long time.
00:39Here are the details on this pretty cool vehicle.
00:42I think Tesla should make one.
00:43Hello, my friends.
00:44Welcome to the channel.
00:45I'm Sam Evans.
00:45You're watching The Electric Viking.
00:49YouTube's new algorithm means that you're often not getting all of our videos in your feed.
00:52There's 7,500.
00:53I'm pretty sure you're probably not seeing a lot of them.
00:56In the description, there is a link to our newsletter.
00:59Click on that, and you can get an update every day of all the latest news in the electric car
01:04industry.
01:06Now, do I really think Tesla should make this?
01:08No, not really.
01:10Would it be good for car companies to make more compelling electric vans that are affordable?
01:15Absolutely, but it's not like Tesla should do it.
01:19I mean, if you say Tesla should do it, then why shouldn't other companies do it?
01:21They're not really doing it.
01:23If you look at the new Kia electric van, it's really not compelling at all.
01:27It's got, I think, WLTP range 400 kilometers, but that's not done with the wind factored in.
01:34It's probably going to get 300 kilometers of range.
01:35It's not compelling for the price that it costs.
01:37There's not really that many compelling electric vans on the market right now, except in China.
01:43That's a different story.
01:44In China, there absolutely is.
01:46There's cars with a real 600 kilometers of range, which are legitimately awesome.
01:52Just not in the West yet.
01:56Tesla Cybervan.
01:57Let's have a look at this vehicle.
01:58It is, I think, actually a really good ripoff of the Cybertruck.
02:03It's headed for production.
02:05It's actually called the Rosso Bolt F200.
02:08It's a stainless steel van, and it's the first model from a newly revived brand that traces
02:16its name back to a storied Russian automaker and railway carriage builder that operated between
02:221869 and 1918.
02:26Production plans are already in motion, with initial deliveries scheduled for, I believe,
02:31the end of 2026.
02:33The F200 has been seen on roads.
02:36So this is not fake.
02:37This is not like a fake video.
02:39This thing is actually driving around.
02:40It's real.
02:43And some people are saying that they think this could be very similar.
02:48It could be a Weichao New Energy V90, which is a Chinese van, and they're kind of rebadging
02:55it, sort of slightly restyling it.
02:57But apparently, this company in Russia is saying, no, that's not what it is.
03:00We build this Cybervan.
03:03They should call it a Cybervan.
03:05The body panels are shaped from unpainted stainless steel, just like the Cybertruck, and
03:11welded together by hand.
03:12Now, despite the raw metal finish, buyers can personalize the look with optional wraps,
03:18as you do.
03:19And there's a whole lot of colors and graphics, and et cetera, et cetera.
03:23The full-width LED lighting front and rear, plus a tailgate design that recalls the styling
03:28of Tesla's truck bed cover makes this thing, actually, I think, look weird, but in a good
03:35way.
03:35What do you guys think of the looks?
03:38It uses a ladder frame chassis, and it has a monocoque chassis as well.
03:44Ah, while most vehicles of this size sit on a ladder frame chassis, this does not.
03:50It's got a monocoque chassis.
03:52It supports a payload, pretty good payload, 1,000 kilograms or 2,205 pounds, and has a 100-year
03:59warranty.
04:00Size, it's actually quite big.
04:02It's 5,950 millimeters long, which is 234.3 inches, 2,000 millimeters wide, pretty wide
04:10as well, 78.7 inches wide, and 2,550 millimeters height, so 100.4 inches high.
04:19You could stand up inside.
04:21Most people could anyway.
04:22If you'd like to book a paid consultation, you can do so, and I'll put a link in the description
04:28below if you want advice on what electric car to buy, solar systems, all that kind of
04:32stuff, you can do that.
04:34Power.
04:35It's not particularly powerful.
04:38It's got one electric motor with 200 horsepower.
04:42A 115 kilowatt-hour battery pack gives it 400 kilometers of range, which is 250 miles, and
04:49it has decent DC fast charging, but we don't know what the speed is.
04:52But anyway, pretty big battery, 115 kilowatt-hour battery, but because this is shaped literally
04:57like a brick, the range is only 250 miles.
05:01Pricing.
05:02The pricing is meant to be $85,000 in Russia, which is 6.5 million rubles.
05:12Deposit, you can put down a deposit, a refundable deposit of $130 if you want to secure a place
05:19in the line.
05:21Standard equipment on this vehicle is ABS, ESP, climate control, rear air suspension.
05:27That's a pretty good feature.
05:28And 360-degree camera setup with live streaming capability.
05:33And apparently, every surface that can be heated is.
05:37The seats have heating.
05:38The steering wheel has heating.
05:40The mirrors have heating.
05:41The windshield wipers are heated.
05:43This vehicle is built for Russian winters, or for cold winters, anyway.
05:49Infotainment.
05:50There's a 14-inch touchscreen, which displays vehicle settings and offers integration with
05:54Russian platforms, such as RooTube, VK Video, and Yandex.
06:00So yeah, this thing sounds pretty good.
06:03They're also apparently making a range extender version, which is going to have more range,
06:06of course.
06:07It'll have all-wheel drive, two electric motors, a small range extender motor, and 400 horsepower.
06:13It'll also add front-air suspension, but we don't know pricing or details for that vehicle.
06:19Guys, I actually really like this thing.
06:22Is it overly compelling with its range?
06:24No, it's not really.
06:25It needs a bigger battery pack, really.
06:26Maybe 150-kilowatt battery would be perfect.
06:29But it does certainly look distinctive.
06:31I don't know what there is about it, but I just think it's weird and ugly and good-looking
06:38and all at once.
06:39I'm not sure how and why, but that's what I'm seeing.
06:42What are you seeing?
06:43Let me know in the comments.
06:45Bye-bye.
06:45Guys, if you want to install solar panels, a home battery, or a home charger, the best
06:52way to do this for your situation is to go to the links in the description below.
06:59And they'll take you to a page where you can compare everyone.
07:03So depending on where you, it doesn't matter where you live.
07:05A lot of people email me all the time saying, well, what solar system should I get?
07:08Who should I go with?
07:09What battery should I get?
07:10What electric charges should I get?
07:12Well, click in the links in the description, and you can actually compare all the different
07:17choices and find the best deal for you.
07:21I'll put that link in the description below.
07:24Additionally, there is a battery savings calculator link and also a federal battery rebate calculator.
07:31I personally have found that I'm not paying for electricity at all, and that's including
07:36charging my two electric cars and also running my home power, my home sauna.
07:42Nothing.
07:43Not paying anything at all.
07:44And I think a lot of people are getting misled.
07:46They think that getting a battery is not worth it.
07:48Actually, I think it is worth it.
07:49So those links are in the description below.
08:06So those links are in the description below.
