00:17Hello and welcome to another Pillage of Eternity 2 update.
00:20My name is Justin Bell and I'm the audio director at Obsidian Entertainment and the composer for Pillage of Eternity.
00:26Today we're really excited to be able to announce our latest stretch goal which is the $2.8 million level
00:31which is a fully orchestrated soundtrack for Pillage of Eternity 2.
00:35So to give you an idea of what that actually means, in Pillars 1 we were able to record about
00:4040 minutes of live orchestra for the soundtrack.
00:44The rest of the 80 minutes of music was produced using sample libraries and software.
00:50The difference between sample libraries and software and live orchestra is that a live orchestra and live musicians give you
00:58a much more expressive performance.
01:01It's lusher sounding and more rich and it just increases the overall quality level a lot.
01:07And so if we hit the stretch goal we'll be able to do that for the entire soundtrack for Pillars
01:13of Eternity 2.
01:15So to show you what that actually sounds like and looks like we prepared a little something special for you.
