00:00Peggy Sedici
00:30for how she cuts through the City of Glass.
00:33She doesn't take the path that everyone else does,
00:35but she finds her new way.
00:38I once knew a young woman
00:40who would defy anyone and anything
00:42in order to do what she felt was right.
00:43But you're clearly not her.
00:45You're broken.
00:47The comic, which precludes the game,
00:50leaves Faith in jail.
00:51And when we start playing the game,
00:53she's just being released from jail
00:55and being let back into the city,
00:57which she hasn't seen for two years.
01:01A very near future city.
01:03It's something that we can relate to
01:05because there's a lot of both architectural elements,
01:08but also cultural elements that we can see there.
01:10The City of Glass is a city with a lot of history.
01:14And we've tried to build that.
01:15For example, we have a downtown section,
01:18which is very much like an old school mirror's edge
01:22with grittiness and like creaky pipes.
01:25But then we have these new parts of the city
01:27that are brand new, super glossy, reflective.
01:31So now we have dynamic time of day,
01:34which as an artist I really love
01:35because in the first game it was beautiful,
01:38it was gorgeous.
01:38It was these white buildings with big colors.
01:41But now we've had to tackle how would that look at night?
01:45It's clean.
01:47It's got this like industrial elegance to the spaces.
01:51Not many games use clean.
01:52Everything's always dirty in games.
01:55There's a ruling conglomerate, the authorities,
01:57and they are very keen on putting a nice touch on things,
02:01like a nice facade.
02:09The main players, the main factions of the City of Glass,
02:12the most important one is, of course, the authorities.
02:15And opposed to them is a sort of resistance movement
02:17called Black November.
02:19Then there's the runners, and they are sort of neutral.
02:21But due to the events that Faith set in motion,
02:24they will be forced to take a stand.
02:26I thought that this would be a...
02:27No, you didn't think Faith, you never do.
02:30I feel proud and unhappy to work on the project.
02:32It's beautiful.
02:33It gives you so much more depth to explore.
02:38Both from the city's perspective and the story.
02:55A few hours later.
02:58A few hours later.
03:00They are caught up in pain in the past.
