00:07activities for residents across the county. The day marks the death of St Cuthbert, the county's
00:13patron saint, and Durham County Council is highlighting local history, heritage and
00:18creativity in the festivities. Libraries in the region will display books by local authors and
00:23stories inspired by the area, and children can take part in Lego challenges in the yellow and
00:29blue colours of the county flag. The Story Museum will host free tours and prominent buildings
00:34including Durham Town Hall will be lit in flag colours. Pilgrims will walk from Chesterly Street
00:40to Durham Cathedral.
