01:22especially from a story point of view,
01:23he's a very real person.
01:24Martin Lee is a benevolent entrepreneur
01:27and has homeless shelters.
01:29They're called the Feast Shelters
01:30and Peter's Aunt May works at Feast.
01:33He's taking care of Aunt May when Peter can't,
01:35when Peter has to either be at work
01:36or be out in the city being Spider-Man.
01:38But there's something inside of him
01:39that's trying to consume him.
01:43Take care of this place.
01:45It represents the best part of me.
01:48We're really kind of poking at that idea
01:50of how some people have a dark side.
01:53The question is whether you give in
01:55to that dark side or don't.
01:57That duality means
01:58if you're taking down Mr. Negative,
02:00you're also taking down Martin Lee.
02:02When you're Spider-Man and you learn that secret,
02:05what a conundrum.
02:06Then the question is,
02:07it's like a ticking clock.
02:08How long until Martin Lee knows
02:12that I know who he is?

02:20From a visual point of view,

02:22is that he's actually got this really cool negative effect

02:29He's able to bring out someone's dark side.

02:34he can do these blasts of his negative energy.

02:37swords or guns or even whips
02:40imbued with his negative power.
02:42And when it comes to Mr. Negative himself,
02:44those powers just amplify it even more.
02:46Everything you care about will be destroyed.

02:50but you won't be able to save them.

02:58One of the first days when we were making the game,
03:00we were all sitting around
03:01talking about how we grew up with Spider-Man.
03:03and we all realized that when we were nine years old,
03:06we all had Spider-Man underoos.
03:09Like, Spider-Man was our guy
03:10and we never lost that love for him.
03:13Now it's fans making the game for other Spider-Man fans.
03:18And we believe in that power and responsibility.
03:20Our game is really going to put you in the shoes of Peter.
03:23We want to deliver on the fantasy of Spider-Man.
03:25and to do that,
03:26we have to take advantage of all his rich backstory,
03:28his supporting cast,
03:29his friends, his foes.
03:30We're going to see characters we know and love
03:32in different ways.
03:34So this is like a whole new world for Spider-Man
03:36and it's really cool.
