00:03Saturday felt like a huge moment in the season.
00:06We saw your celebrations as well, so did you feel like it was a significant moment?
00:11Yes, it was a significant moment, a really nice moment to live together.
00:16That's on the past and now the full focus is on tomorrow.
00:20We've seen Max show his talent since the beginning of the season, but the manner how he scored
00:26and how he impacted the game was pretty special.
00:30How proud were you of him and what has he been like since?
00:34Very much, obviously, to do what he did in such a moment, very rare to see or impossible
00:41almost.
00:42He's done it and now it's football and now what you've done a few days ago is not relevant
00:47anymore, it's about the next one.
00:49On the game tomorrow, could you just ask some fitness questions please?
00:53So there's no Durian Timber and Martin Odegaard in training, are they out for tomorrow?
00:58Yes, both of them are, yeah.
01:00Leandro Trostov was back, is he available?
01:02He's okay, he felt good, so he's available.
01:04And any other fitness issues?
01:06No, no, not any other news.
01:07And with Leverkusen, last week it was a tight game against them in Germany, a well-organised
01:12side, so what are you expecting tomorrow?
01:15Well, very much the same and watching them play against Bayern Munich at the weekend, very
01:19similar, so again, really well coached, a team with a very clear structure, really good individuals.
01:24If not, obviously we are not in a stage in the competition that we are in right now, so
01:29we know what we have to do and in front of our crowd, with our people, putting all the
01:34energy in the world again, hopefully we're going to do it.
01:39I know you said you're moving on, but just reflecting on Saturday, in the six and a bit
01:44years that you've been here, can you recall anything like that feeling that you've had
01:50there?
01:51Every feeling is different, we had so many beautiful moments throughout this period.
01:56The reason one obviously is the one that you have more recent, that's why it's very special,
02:02but as I said, let's have another wonderful one tomorrow.
02:04I know there will be a will probably just to keep everything calm around Max, so with
02:11that in mind, is there anything that you've put in place, like maybe any players that you
02:16might have like assigned to him, maybe mentor him?
02:19Well, I think we have the leadership group obviously and certain individuals that are
02:24very close with him.
02:26The most important one is his family as well, and he's in a very good place there as well.
02:30And him, because he's used to a lot of things, he takes it very normally and he knows that
02:37this sport is about today.
02:39Just one player I want to ask you about in relation to that.
02:41Your captain is Martin Odegaard, but he's also been a player who came through at a very,
02:47very young age as well.
02:48How important could he be to Max?
02:51Yeah, all the experiences that the players have and they can share and explain, it's
02:59very useful because probably he's going through things that some of us in the past we've been.
03:05At his age, not many, but Martin is a really good example.
03:09I know you don't tend to talk about players that aren't yours, but I want to ask you about
03:12a player that used to be yours, which is Dinos Mavropanos, who had an excellent game for
03:16West Ham and did Arsenal quite a huge favour.
03:19Could you just speak a little bit about what it was like to work with him and how thankful
03:22maybe you are for his efforts as well?
03:23Yeah, very, very good character.
03:26A player that was signed just before I arrived as well and they had a long-term injury as
03:32well and he didn't get that many minutes, but good to see him doing really well and that's
03:39it.
03:39And all the players that they've been with us, we did them all the best.
03:42And in all the jubilation of the game against Everton, we didn't really get to offer the
03:46opportunity for you to ask about the penalty that you didn't get in that game.
03:49No.
03:49And there's been a lot of talk and noise around afterwards, Kai Havertz appeared to
03:52get clicked in it and it was reviewed very quickly.
03:55What were your thoughts on that decision?
03:56Yeah, watching it back when we were watching live, very disappointed that we didn't get
04:01a penalty because it was very clear.
04:04James Athletic?
04:05Hi Mikael.
04:06Just on Martin, obviously he's missed the last few games.
04:09It must be difficult for him at the moment because there are so many big games and you've
04:12got a cup final potentially, well definitely, on Sunday against Wembley in which he ostensibly
04:17would be leading the team out.
04:18Is he in contention for that?
04:20Yeah.
04:21So we're really pushing.
04:22He really wants to try to be unavailable but we'll have to wait and see in the next
04:27few days when he trains with the team, how he feels.
04:30We know the game that we're going to be playing in a few days again and the more players that
04:34we have, the better.
04:35Matt, hi Mikael.
04:36Hi.
04:36On Saturday you sort of seemed as passionate and as animated on the touchline as you have
04:40in a long time, sort of taking your jacket off, kicking every ball.
04:43You spoke about the need for everyone to enjoy these months.
04:46Are you genuinely able to enjoy it?
04:48I love those moments and when the team needs help and the crowd is pushing there, I think
04:54in any way that we can contribute, help, support the players, give them confidence and energy,
04:59we have to be there.
05:00I think it makes a difference and we noticed immediately.
05:04The moment the crowd got more relaxed, more positive, the atmosphere changes and the players
05:10start to make better decisions and we managed to win the game.
05:13This is the fourth season now of you being on the touchline during a big title race.
