00:01Leverkusen was saying after the game the other night that he was having a joke with Nikola Drogba about using
00:07that tactic.
00:08Do you think that a lot of teams have seen what you've been doing in blocking and have started to
00:14do it really effectively like they did the other night?
00:16Yeah, we weren't the first to start to do that.
00:20And it's not about blocking. I'm not going to describe what we do, but it's not blocking.
00:24And what they did in the goal that we conceded and the foul that we get at the end of
00:29the game, you just see that and tell me the difference.
00:35Is that something clear that you weren't happy with that decision to allow that goal?
00:39No, because he's trying to manipulate not him. In general, that noise is the efficiency that we have in certain
00:45moments.
00:48And does not know what we try to do as well. It's not that.
00:51And I'll take it with Everson and Oskar, you've learned a lot from him from set-pieces in the first
00:59place.
00:59But they have a heavy emphasis and they've got some big defenders. I'm sure that's something you worked on.
01:05Yeah, and those defenders can attack. I mean, they've always been really good at defending and attacking the box.
01:10That's one of the biggest qualities of his teams and that's why tomorrow will be very difficult.
01:16Simon?
01:17I'll just ask you on Bukayo, when he has a sort of difficult run like this where his numbers aren't
01:22as good as they are in previous seasons,
01:23how do you lift it? And do you also think maybe he has perhaps been a victim of lots of
01:28injuries in attack?
01:29He hasn't played as much with Marta as he normally would with Kai. Players that he does have a very
01:32good understanding?
01:33Yes, I mean, we have changed that unit a lot, much more than in recent years.
01:38The amount of games and minutes that he's played now, I think it's a bit more than already the whole
01:44of last season.
01:46So we just have to understand the demands that we are putting on players as well.
01:49And that's another thing that obviously when we talk about the beauty of the game and all these things,
01:55all these things affect certain things for sure.
01:57I just want to pick up on something you said to Darmusch obviously about Spurs.
02:01Would you miss that north under Darmusch if you didn't have it next season?
02:04I don't think we have to respond to that question.
02:07We'll go finally to Gary.
02:09You've had a couple of seasons or defining weeks,
02:13weeks where you've had periods of games.
02:15The Villa buying one last year, the Palace, the PSG form period.
02:21Do you ever look back on those now when you've now got an important week of this season
02:28to think about how your players cope with that week and how you might think they might cope with this
02:35week?
02:37Yeah, we certainly try to learn from the past to replicate the same scenarios.
02:42It's very difficult because at the end what it matters is your state in that moment
02:47and the opponent that you are facing and that's always different.
02:51We know what is at stake and the moment that we go another week, another week, another week,
02:55is going to be closer and closer, but we're dealing with that in a really organic way.
03:01We've been trying to deal with that for eight, nine months already in that way
03:05and we're not going to change that.
03:06Sorry, Rachel.
03:08I was here a couple of weeks ago.
03:10You were speaking about how your team is forming this kind of organic bond with each other beyond
03:14your expectation, spending time together off the pitch.
03:17When it comes to those intangible differences between first place and second place
03:21and a trophy and watching someone else claim a trophy,
03:24how important is that that they are forming these bonds organically?
03:29Yeah, I don't know if it makes the difference between first and second or not.
03:32If we go through that or that's the definitive factor,
03:37I think we have a really good chance because the atmosphere that the boys have
03:41and the bond between them is exceptional.
03:43But it's a massive factor as well to sustain CERTA culture
03:47and the atmosphere around the team in the best possible way.
03:50And we are very lucky to have that.
03:53Okay, guys.
03:54Thanks very much.
04:01Thanks.
04:03Oh, I was a little bit.
04:03No, no.
