00:04Here are some starter tips to get you going right from the get-go.
00:09On the starting island, spend some time exploring the far reaches
00:12and collecting this glowing ore called Aurichalcum.
00:15Later on, you'll meet a guy who wants it real badly,
00:17and in exchange, he'll give you epic or legendary gear.
00:22Exploring is good, because not every interesting spot or hidden treasure is marked on your map.
00:27Plus, you can scout out some high places to spartakick your enemies off of.
00:32This move is effective, hilarious, and a great way to take out higher-level foes early on.
00:37But what if you don't want to kill them?
00:40Then here's our top four non-lethal knockout tactics.
00:44Number one, delivering a stealth knockout.
00:46Number two, spartakicking their health down to zero.
00:50Number three, unlocking the Arrow Master ability
00:52and shooting them with paralyzing arrows that you crafted on your inventory screen.
00:57And number four, unequipping your melee weapon and pummeling them with your fists.
01:02Knock out an enemy, and you can recruit them to be a lieutenant on your ship and boost your stats.
01:07Join my crew, and let me show you.
01:09Knock out a wolf, and you can use the Beast Master ability to tame it to fight alongside you.
01:13Let's run together.
01:17Do try out different abilities by resetting your unlocks with a small sum of drachmy,
01:22and selecting new ones like Shieldbreaker,
01:24which helps you kick butt in conquest battles and work on your discus form for the Olympics.
01:30Speaking of abilities, the Rush Assassination ability is a great way to cross gaps quickly,
01:35and gives you a two-for-one deal on assassinations.
01:38Level it up for more takedowns and new combo possibilities.
01:44Now it's time for fun with torches!
01:48Brought to you by your unlimited supply of torches.
01:52With torches, you can bring light to dark places.
01:55Smash your way in to secret places.
01:58Scare civilians away so you can rob them.
02:01Light your arrows on fire.
02:04Light snakes on fire.
02:06Light your enemies on fire.
02:09Light war supplies on fire.
02:12But, I recommend looting them first.
02:15Okay, just a few more quick tips before we kick you back out on your odyssey,
02:19starting with bird facts.
02:22Your avian life mate Icarus is great for spotting enemies,
02:25locating treasures, and tagging sharks,
02:28so you can kill them safely with your bow.
02:31I mean, just because they're down there,
02:32doesn't mean you have to go down there to fight them.
02:34And just because a quest giver asks you for help,
02:37doesn't mean you have to help them.
02:38You're on your own.
02:39You could go for a nice stroll through town instead,
02:41and swing by the bounty board,
02:43where you can sometimes find contracts that'll pay you
02:46for stuff you're doing anyway,
02:47like killing bandits.
02:52Get around quickly by fast traveling to your boat,
02:54or to sink points,
02:56and by running when calling your horse pal Phobos,
02:59so you'll automatically mount him when he arrives.
03:02Take a quick look at the Ubisoft club,
03:04where you can unlock rewards that you've earned by playing Ubisoft games,
03:08like cool weapons and customization items,
03:11a bundle of extra resources,
03:13and a crew chock full of assassins.
03:18You can also check out the in-game store,
03:20where you can spend Helix credits on an array of different gear sets,
03:24weapons, and looks for your trusty steed.
03:27And as you make your way through this epic adventure,
03:30remember to slow down once in a while,
03:32pet your tamed wolf daughter by facing her
03:35and waiting for her to look up at her mama,
03:36and take some family photos in photo mode
03:39to commemorate all the good times.
