00:54Ghost
00:55Meet the Ghost

01:00As you can see, or rather not see
01:03The Ghost enemy type has a cloaking ability
01:05That renders him almost entirely invisible
01:08You can see how that's a bit of a pickle in combat
01:11How do you kill him if you can't see him?
01:15There is, however, a vague rippling effect where the Ghost is
01:19So you can still make out where he is if you focus
01:22Be quick though
01:24Whilst camouflaged, they will charge up a powerful shot
01:26And attempt to shoot you before they turn visible again
01:30The Ghost is incredibly agile
01:33They'll dart around, slide into cover, roll and evade
01:37So that it's much trickier to pin them down and land a successful shot
01:41His purpose is to flush you out and force you to keep moving
01:46And he does it well
01:49Sniper
01:49Utilising laser sight, the sniper has pinpoint accuracy
01:54And can cause significant damage to Rico from far away
01:57You'll instantly know when snipers are targeting Rico
02:00Because a red laser will follow him around relentlessly
02:04Tactically, if you whip into your wingsuit
02:06They will have a much harder time tracking your movements
02:11Titan
02:11Titan by name, Titan by nature
02:15Titans do not have weak points
02:17And can take a lot of damage thanks to their incredibly resilient armour
02:22I fired three consecutive rockets right at him
02:26And he still gets right back up
02:28The main weapon of choice for a Titan is the Railgun
02:32They will track and target Rico with a blue laser sight
02:35Charge up a shot and then launch a high-velocity projectile at him
02:40Completely blasting him backwards and crunching Rico's health
02:45If your escape plan is to evade into the skies with your trusty parachute and wingsuit
02:50Think again
02:52Titans can aim incredibly well
02:54And their success rate with knocking Rico out of the sky with a blast from their railgun
02:59Is more likely than not
03:01Additionally, they have the ability to charge up a much more powerful red shot
03:06That will leave you teetering on the edge of life and death
03:10If they manage to blast you into the path of enemies
03:14You're a goner
03:16If all that wasn't enough to deal with
03:18When initializing combat, the Titan can also launch a protective drone
03:23Talk about a double threat
03:26Grenadier
03:27Operating in the range between privates and snipers
03:30The Grenadier will fire a grenade launcher multiple times towards you
03:34The grenades don't explode upon impact
03:37But have a couple of seconds delay before the blast
03:40Allowing for a little bit of time for you to escape
03:43Before you feel the wrath of the grenades
03:45He's also covered for when you get near him
03:48As he'll switch to a submachine gun for close-range combat
03:52Finally, if and when you do manage to take the Grenadier down
03:56For one last chance at taking you out
03:59They'll drop multiple grenades that explode at once
04:02Even after death they're still coming for you
04:08Super Elite
04:09This scary looking dude is immune to all bullet damage
04:13And has high defense against explosions
04:16Making the Super Elite an enemy that requires full focus
04:20And quite some time to defeat
04:22Thinking of using your grappling hook
04:24To latch some boosters and blow him away
04:27Well, think again
04:28Super Elites are also exempt from grappling hook attacks
04:32Told you he's scary
04:35Riot Shielder
04:36The Shielder is a predominantly defensive enemy
04:40That carries a large riot shield
04:42And is equipped with an SMG
04:45Entirely unique to just cause
04:48This foe can raise a shield in all angles
04:51Rather than only being able to block straight on
04:54They do this to deliberately block wherever Rico is
04:58For example, they'll lift it above their heads
05:00When Rico is airborne
05:05Think of them like a tortoise
05:07Hiding in their shell
05:08Well, a tortoise that can also shoot at you quite a lot
05:13RPG units
05:15The RPG unit was also in Just Cause 3
05:18And has had improvements to make his behavior more coherent in Just Cause 4
05:23This enemy targets Rico with a green laser to differentiate from the red snipers
05:28You can also telegraph his position after he's fired a rocket
05:32As a smoke trail lingers behind from his location to yours
05:38Even if the rocket itself doesn't hit you
05:40The explosion makes a large damage radius

06:57The privates also have an evolution
06:59The elite soldier
07:01Elites will do more damage with better weapons
07:04And have higher health due to being kitted out in thick armor
07:07They use a range of weapons and walk around like they own the place
07:11We've seen the elite soldier countless times in numerous trailers before
07:16And you'll be sure to see much more of them in the game
