00:00A lot of times I'm just in a different mood. I like try to honor it. I like playing with
00:05the
00:05masculinity and the femininity. Half the time you're always like, can we see the women's side?
00:10Can we see the women's side? And I'm like, yeah, put me in like some, what's it called? Lace. Put
00:16me in some lace. Put me in some floral. Put me in some, get my pearls on my neck.
00:26Ah, bonjour Vanity Fair. Come in. I'm getting ready for the Oscars.
00:35Well, for today, it was like drawings and a bunch of like, um, created art that we could kind of
00:41decide on. But for the other events, like, we're kind of winging it. And Miss Anastasia Walker and
00:48Doug bring like a whole rack of clothes. We're like grabbing things, mixing, matching,
00:54hemming, stitching, Botoxing, all the things. I'm here with my people. That's Zach,
01:01my filmmaker friend. Um, and then that's Caitlin, my girlfriend. So I got good people around.
01:07I got everyone with me and they're my little family and they're keeping me safe. Like I'm a little
01:11incubated little chicklet or something. I don't know how that works.
01:16I think acting stuff, there's like a competitive nature to it. Um, but with fashion, it's just a
01:23way for me to feel more like myself in that moment. Um, sometimes it helps to kind of push myself
01:30into
01:31a mood that I want to aspire to feel a little bit more. Um, or just dress exactly how I
01:36feel. Elevated,
01:37but classic. I don't touch my own hair anymore or my skin. Um, Aika Flores, who's right here, is contractually
01:48obligated to do it.
01:53As you may or may not know, Balenciaga has new creative director, Pierre Paolo. So we're really
01:58excited to be working with him. This is Hudson's first Oscars. We're going into this beautiful
02:03black tuxedo and we'll have some flair with our shoes and such. And we're either going to go
02:10black on black or white on white. I like all the action. I like pairing all the types of little
02:16actions. Okay. Black and white. I see, I don't see the actions. I'm blind to what the actions are doing.
02:23And we have this beautiful tuxedo trouser. Very classic. We're just going cute. And then we have
02:29probably one of the most beautiful shoes from Louboutin. Sexy. Yeah. We'll include our beautiful
02:35Bulgari serpentine watch. We'll have a beautiful brooch. This is what we're working with. And this
02:39is more of our hero tray over here. Um, I don't know if you got that beautiful ruby dial on
02:44this
02:44serpentine watch. Stunning. While we're going pretty classic for carpet. Classic, not boring. Let's be very
02:51clear. We're having a lot of flair for Vanity Fair. So for the drama of it all, you will be
03:00getting this
03:02train situation. I love this beautiful pleated sheer top. And we'll have this with a beautiful
03:07pleated trouser by Balenciaga as well. The pants are currently being tailored. You know, we're down
03:12to the wire. That's how this goes, but it's going to be stunning. You're trying to snatch it up. Yeah.
03:17Okay. So you're going to get arms. You're going to get body and you're just going to get all this
03:23drama. We're giving you a guy, a man that can do both. Classic for the Oscars carpet and
03:30slutty. For the Vanity Fair. Exactly.
03:38We have been working together for a long time of four. And loving each other even for a longer time.
03:44I've known him since what? December? December. We did a one photo shoot and I was like, I hate him.
03:50Don't ever want to work with him ever again. No, I love him. Um, I think the key is just
03:56like we,
03:58we text a lot about the look and we send mood boards and I'm like, do you like this?
04:04Yeah. I go, yes. I don't do too much on him at all. His skin is like 10 minutes. He
04:09has zero pores,
04:10if you didn't know. Um, I don't know how the makeup stays on. He's like a porcelain doll.
04:15Oh yeah. We did a mask and then he gets his beautiful glowy skin. We call it heartthrob,
04:20the heartthrob glow. Okay. Heartthrob throw. Glow. Glow. Heartthrob throw. Glow.
04:28I'm sorry. We did a wet look today with his signature bangs. There's little pieces in his hair.
04:35It's rock hard. Uh, I just wanted a little bit more elevated. It's the Oscars, so we got to make
04:41it
04:41a little bit more elevated. Right. Less s-word. Yeah, yeah, yeah. More mature. More mature, no. We're so
04:49much dirt for the Oscars.
05:12All right, Vanity Fair. I'll see you on the Oscars red carpet. Bye-bye.
05:25I'll see you on the Oscars red carpet. Bye-bye.
