00:00Okay, so here's the trillion-dollar question here.
00:02Miami of Ohio, you're 31-1.
00:05They've got a schedule ranking of 340.
00:10No team that's ever won 29 games has ever been left out of the NCAA tournament.
00:17I mean, they've played a boatload of stiffs, 31-1.
00:22You've got to get some – hey, I'm telling you, Cab,
00:26I've never been in a position where I've straddled defense on anything
00:28because that usually hurts.
00:30Right?
00:30So I'm sitting here, I'm like, hey, at the end of the day here, though, man,
00:34I mean, 31-1 has to mean something, no?
00:37Okay, so I'm going to – like you said, straddling the fence.
00:41I'm going to give you my opinion.
00:42Then I truly want to hear what you say, too.
00:45I've gone back and forth and back and forth about this Miami, Ohio team,
00:49but you gave it at the top.
00:51Their schedule strength has been so weak.
00:53They haven't beat a team in the top 100, much less a top team.
01:00I can't do it.
01:00I can't do it, Dan.
01:01I can't put them in.
01:02And I hate to be that guy because I know we all want the Cinderella story.
01:06That's why we love March.
01:07That's why we love college basketball.
01:09But come on, man.
01:10You've got to put somebody on your schedule.
01:11You've got to play somebody.
01:12You've got to step up at some point during the season.
01:15How about this, then?
01:16Would this be a compromise?
01:18The first four.
01:19Put them in that and put them in the first four to give them an opportunity to play themselves in.
01:25I'm good with that.
01:26I like that.
01:27And I think that's something that maybe not to completely shift, but college football might be looking at something like
01:32that, right?
01:32Because they don't know what they're doing with their playoff thing.
01:35I'm good with that.
01:36So if it was up to me, I'd say put them in that four.
01:39I'd say let them have a play-in game, see if they can get in.
01:42And I don't think they would.
01:43But I do think that they at least deserve the opportunity.
01:46Cab, do you think Duke is the slam dunk number one?
01:51Yeah, I do.
01:56I guess unless Michigan wins today comfortably against Purdue, I say Duke's your top seed here.
02:04How about the top four?
02:06Are they set in stone, you think?
02:08We just talked about UConn and Florida.
02:10How about the top three?
02:12Do you think they're set in stone?
02:13Do you think Michigan?
02:14Do you think Arizona?
02:16Do you think Duke?
02:17Those are your three teams that are.
02:19And then the final spot is really the last spot to be determined whether or not the committee and how
02:25they're going to go.
02:26Last spot's probably not the sold one, right?
02:30Right.
02:31You know, Arizona yesterday against Houston, beating that Houston team for a second time.
02:34And we finally got to see that Calvin Sampson defense out of Houston in this tournament.
02:39So for Arizona to be able and still go put up those points on Houston for a second time in
02:44a row, man, Arizona is my top team.
02:47So I know that was kind of a roundabout.
02:49I avoided your question, but you brought up Arizona.
02:52I like Arizona more than Michigan.
02:54I like Arizona more than Duke.
02:57And for that four seed, like I said, we come back to Florida.
03:01Florida, and it's hard to look at, you know, Purdue sitting at 26 and 8.
03:05But if they beat Michigan today, I think that there's an argument to be had for them as well.
03:09Farooons.
03:09Bye-bye.
