[Full] Trump Klaim Operasi Militer di Iran Berjalan Baik, AS Siap Kawal Kapal Tanker di Selat Hormuz

JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Presiden Amerika Serikat Donald Trump menyatakan bahwa operasi militer yang berkaitan dengan situasi di Iran berjalan dengan baik dan menunjukkan hasil signifikan.    Menurut Trump, militer AS mencatat sejumlah keberhasilan besar dalam operasi yang berlangsung pada hari itu.    "Situasi di Iran berjalan sangat baik. Hari ini ada banyak serangan besar dan banyak kemenangan besar secara militer," kata Trump kepada wartawan dilansir dari US Network Pool/AP.    Trump juga menyinggung perkembangan situasi di Selat Hormuz, jalur pelayaran penting bagi perdagangan energi global.    Ia mengatakan pemerintahannya terus memantau situasi di kawasan tersebut.    Menjawab pertanyaan wartawan mengenai kemungkinan pengawalan kapal tanker oleh Angkatan Laut AS, Trump mengatakan langkah itu akan segera dilakukan.    "Itu akan terjadi segera, sangat segera," ujarnya.    Trump menilai operasi militer yang dilakukan telah melemahkan kemampuan militer Iran secara signifikan. Ia bahkan menyebut sebagian besar kekuatan militer Iran telah dihancurkan.    "Angkatan laut mereka sudah hilang, angkatan udara mereka sudah hilang, sebagian besar militer mereka sudah hilang. Ancaman besar mereka juga sudah hilang," katanya.    Meski demikian, Trump tidak memberikan perkiraan pasti mengenai berapa lama konflik tersebut akan berlangsung. 01:20their Navy is gone,

01:22their Air Force is gone,

01:23most of their military is gone,

01:25their big threat is gone in every way.

01:28They have no radar,

01:30they have no anti-aircraft weapons,

01:33for the most part, weapons and ports,

01:35and definitely they have no way

01:36of determining what they call visibility.

01:40So just about everything is gone,

01:43and you'll see that.

01:44But today we've had some very, very big hits,

01:47very powerful hits.

01:48Mr. President,

01:49when will the Navy start escorting tankers

01:51to the straight-to-form moves?

01:52It'll happen soon.

01:52How long now do you think the war is likely to last?
