00:17He said video recordings show the suspect driving a four-wheel drive vehicle before lifting a manhole cover in the
00:25middle of the road in an attempt to steal cables.
00:27However, the suspect quickly fled the scene after realizing his actions were being recorded by a member of the public.
00:35Mohamed Najib added that police are working to identify the suspect.
00:40The case is being investigated under sections 379 and 511 of the Penal Code for Attempted Theft.
