00:00I think everybody loves a good rom-com.
00:15I knew this was an action movie when I saw leaders who care about people.
00:22In your opinion, how much do we need leaders who care?
00:25I think leaders, you know, that's the duty, right?
00:28You know, you're lead, you're there to lead.
00:31And, you know, leaders that care, obviously, you know, do a better job.
00:38I don't know enough about what it takes to be in that kind of position of leadership.
00:45But I think that having a sense of empathy in any leadership role is crucial.
00:52Yeah.
00:53And we spoke on Zoom a few months ago and I told you that you are a king of comedy
01:00to me.
01:00But you are also so focused on details.
01:03I love that you do the president's end.
01:07When you speak, you do this thing.
01:09So how did you work on that?
01:12That was a tip somebody gave me once.
01:14If you point at somebody, you're pointing back at yourself four times.
01:18So I just try not to point at folks.
01:21And I noticed that that's a trait that a lot of public speakers use.
01:26And Idris, you a few days ago on Instagram wrote, don't get labeled, labels are for cans.
01:33And your character here says that he loves actual cinema.
01:38Why, in your opinion, there's no respect for rom coms and action movies?
01:42Because I think they are true cinema.
01:44Why?
01:46I mean, I think that's just Sam's perspective.
01:49I don't think that's Europe's general.
01:51I think everybody loves a good rom com.
01:53But I think Sam is really, obviously, a big fan of his, but can't admit it in the movie.
02:01Respect for rom com and action movies.
02:03Yeah.
02:04Do you agree?
02:05Yeah, definitely.
02:06Man, I got respect for all entertainment.
02:09Okay.
02:10You are actors, so maybe you feel they need to be liked by everyone.
02:15But do you believe that sometimes it's not just important, you just have to do your job.
02:20How much do you care about being liked by other people?
02:25I'll splice that for you a little bit.
02:29For me, at least, I can't speak for the boys, but I think I know it'll be a similar answer.
02:35Our jobs are to be actors, and what we provide in our jobs is a medium of entertainment.
02:44So yes, of course, you know, you want butts on seats.
02:46You want people to watch the art that you've created.
02:50But as a human being, I really don't need anyone to like me.
02:55I'm okay in my life.
02:56I'm okay surrounded by the people I love and people who love me.
03:00But in my job, yes, I want people, anyone who watches my work to enjoy it.
03:06So it's different with professionally and personally.
03:10I think that's very well said.
03:13You put forth a product that you want people to enjoy.
03:19As far as wanting to be liked, I think for me that where I've gained the most ground is
03:27to look in the mirror and like the person looking back at me.
03:29And as long as I got that going on, I'm off to a good start.
03:32Okay.
03:32And just a curiosity, Sam wears a beanie, Arsenal beanie.
03:37Do you, did you put in your contract that you should wear only Arsenal beanie?
03:42I didn't.
03:43But you know, originally, the hat was a West Ham hat.
03:47Ah.
03:48And I was like, really?
03:50And it was meant to be a part of another storyline that didn't end up in there.
03:53So they changed it to Arsenal.
03:55Okay.
03:56Thank you so much.
03:57Thank you.
03:57Thank you.
03:59Thank you.
04:18Thank you.
04:19Thank you.
