00:00Smashing boom.
00:01The dynamic duo.
00:03Absolutely.
00:21Giancarlo Esposito's character
00:22picks a name for each one of you.
00:25If you could pick a name,
00:26what name would you choose for yourself?
00:28Wow.
00:29Smash.
00:34Boom.
00:36Smash and boom.
00:37The dynamic duo.
00:39Absolutely.
00:40The trilogy.
00:41There you go.
00:43Frank says that there's a pain in the ass.
00:47There's one in each group.
00:48Who was the pain in the ass in this movie?
00:51Oh, it's probably me.
00:52Oh, you think it was you?
00:53Sure, me.
00:54You think so?
00:55Absolutely.
00:56You mean in real life?
00:57Oh, in real life it was you.
00:58Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:03In the movie, it's definitely Frank.
01:05Yeah.
01:05Definitely.
01:08Yeah, I agree.
01:09I agree.
01:24We want to get rid of them.
01:27Yeah, for the monsters in today's world.
01:29But it's hard to get rid of them.
01:30You know what, monsters out there?
01:32You're not alone.
01:34We're all monsters.
01:36We're with you.
01:36We're with you.
01:37We're with you.
01:37We're all monsters.
01:38That's the thing.
01:39It's a problem.
01:40Big lesson.
01:41Since you are actors and now you know all the tricks, what scares you now when you watch another movie?
01:48Not much.
01:49No?
01:50No.
01:51I don't like things crawling under the skin.
01:53Ew.
01:54That really freaks me out.
01:55Ew.
01:56And like little creatures.
01:57Like inside your skin?
01:58No, can't do it.
01:59Yeah, but I've not seen that in a movie.
02:02Have you?
02:03Yeah.
02:04Okay.
02:05There's a particular X-Files episode that really like planted that in my mind.
02:10And it ever since has freaked me out.
02:11I've definitely seen it in.
02:12I'm sure.
02:13I'm sure.
02:14Yeah.
02:14I've never seen it in.
02:15I can see it in my head, but I don't know what it's from.
02:18It's not great.
02:18No.
02:19Yeah, yeah.
02:19I thought about the bargain metrics.
02:22Yeah.
02:23Not so nice.
02:23Yeah.
02:24Yeah, yeah.
02:24All right.
02:26And one of the lessons that we can learn from this movie is really to never underestimate
02:33someone.
02:35So in your opinion, being underestimated could be an asset sometimes.
02:39Oh, it definitely is.
02:41It's better to be underestimated, I think.
02:44Then you don't have to worry about any expectations, right?
02:47You just be your best self and you don't have to be better than that.
02:51That's beautiful.
02:52I know.
02:54She smashed.
02:55So she smashed.
02:56Smashed.
02:57Smashed.
02:59Smashed.
03:00Smashed.
03:00Smashed.
03:00And there's a line, a really interesting line in the movie that says,
03:05Today, everybody has to be a victim.
03:09Can you explain a little bit this quote?
03:12And do you agree?
03:13That's a Frank line, isn't it?
03:15Yes.
03:16I think, I mean, Frank is very grumpy and he's pissed off with a lot of things in the
03:23world.
03:24And I think that is an example of Frank moaning about victim culture.
03:31and I guess, you know, there's a sort of comment on that.
03:36I don't know if I agree with him, but that is definitely Frank's point of view that everybody
03:42is suffering in some way and that, you know, we all have to cope with that.
03:48You should tell him that you just have to be your best self.
03:51Be your best self and it will be fine.
03:53You don't have to be better than anybody else.
03:54So says smash.
03:56Mm-hmm.
03:57And without giving away too much, could we say that even monsters have daddy issues?
04:05Have daddy issues?
04:06I think, yeah, I think we see that in this movie.
04:09It's big daddy issues, right?
04:11Dracula, you know?
04:12I think all the characters have daddy issues.
04:14Don't you think?
04:15Definitely.
04:16In some way.
04:17Sammy definitely does.
04:19Yeah.
04:19Sammy's very Abigail in a lot of ways.
04:22I think that they could have learned a lot from each other.
04:24I bet they all do if you look at them seriously.
04:27Dan.
04:28Dan?
04:30Frank does for sure.
04:32Frank does, yeah.
04:33The movie is all a therapy group session.
04:36It really is.
04:36Big therapy group session.
04:38Yeah, yeah.
04:38You're laughing and you're crying, all of it.
04:40Thank you so much.
04:42Thank you.
04:43Thank you.
05:11Thank you.
05:11Thank you.
05:11Thank you.
05:11Grazie a tutti.
