00:02hey you know i hope y'all are doing really well first of all i haven't been posting like at
00:11but y'all keep subscribing and i'm very i'm very thankful for like each and every person that you
00:17know wants to keep watching my videos even though i be i be lacking but today i'm back with another
00:22edo language progress video now you might be like it's about time it's been years well you know
00:31besides school and life and whatnot i would say there wasn't that much progress to report back
00:37which is why i haven't made a video but i'm making this video today because i feel like there's been
00:44progression for the first time what i could say is like the first time uh since i i guess started
00:50on this edo language learning journey i feel very encouraged about what's to come and why do i feel
00:57like that well let me let me back up a while ago i had made this video that was like
01:01okay if i was to
01:02learn any language from zero what would i do and i said a lot of stuff in that video but
01:06basically
01:06the roadmap you could say was i would learn the basic grammar of that language i would learn the
01:14thousand most used words then i would find native speakers and i would just start speaking as soon
01:20as possible and then you know i would learn the language simple and to my defense that you know
01:25that roadmap worked very well for me with you know other languages that i learned but then i got to
01:32adult language and um because it's like okay i have the roadmaps if i do these three things i'm gonna
01:41learn period but it's like and then i couldn't find the resources to learn the grammar or to learn like
01:48those vocabulary words so it's like you know like i'm at a loss but i do believe all right i
01:56do think
01:57that i found not even that i think like i have found resources that are helping me learn that grammar
02:03learn that those vocabulary words so then i can get to the point where i can go and be justing
02:09with
02:09native speakers and you know improve and whatnot it's not like i'm over here speaking you know i call you
02:16all this stuff no not yet but i do believe i have the building blocks that will help me get
02:21to that
02:22point which is what i want to share in this video so i'm not going to hold y'all too
02:26long in a couple
02:27minutes i'm actually going to hop on a zoom call to take this eddo lesson because i'm you know i'm
02:32taking classes and stuff i'm gonna elaborate on that a little more so you know let me let y'all
02:37go
02:38and we'll catch up later you know we'll chat about the resources and i'll drive the links and all that
02:43so yeah
02:45yeah how are you doing i'm doing good how are you
02:48and you know what i'm doing okay

03:49donc le mot naki est utilisé par exemple, c'est ce que c'est
03:57le mot pour hair, c'est etou
04:00etou
04:01comment dire c'est que c'est que c'est que c'est que c'est que c'est que
04:03c'est
04:03etouvé naki
04:07correcte, et si tu veux dire c'est, c'est que c'est que c'est, c'est que c

04:27ok, first
04:29for sister, would I use

04:34or would I have to specify
04:35c'est comme « ma chanteur », c'est comme « ma chanteur ».
04:45Donc, le mot « chanteur » c'est le mot général de la chanteur, mais pour dire « ma chanteur
04:51», tu dois dire « ma chanteur ».
04:53Ok, ok, ok.
04:55Donc, ces sont mes chanteurs, les enfants.
05:10C'est correct.
05:12C'est correct.
05:13C'est correct.
05:28All right, so let's get into, you know, the change of scenery, the change in here.
05:35Anyways, I wanted to use this section in the video to mention, like, three or four resources that, you know,
05:42I think I've really been helping with, you know, this whole Edo language journey.
05:47Starting with the Zoom y'all saw me on, so I'm very excited, actually, to be taking an Edo language
05:52course.
05:53It's an eight-week course with, like, a lesson every week.
05:57I'm only a lesson two of eight, okay, but I think, I think it's helping.
06:01I think I've been able to pick up a lot.
06:03So, if you all are interested, this particular Edo tutor teacher has a page on Instagram called Ijianzedo.
06:11And besides this course, he also just posts a lot of helpful Edo resources, graphics, translations.
06:17So, I recommend checking out his page if you end up doing the course or just following him.
06:22Tell him Viko Senshu, Victoria Senshu.
06:24Additionally, we have Edo Language Institute on YouTube.
06:28Now, I'm not too sure, actually, how I, like, didn't know about this channel before, but on one of my
06:35previous Edo Language progress videos, somebody commented and somebody replied to that comment mentioning this channel.
06:42And I was like, I just love the, you know, people helping people in the comments.
06:45But I ended up checking out the channel, and it has some very, very helpful breakdowns about Edo grammar.
06:52Subject pronouns, object pronouns, possessive pronouns, just a sentence structure in general, which is exactly what the girls need and
06:59what the guys need, you know?
07:01So, very helpful.
07:02They have some other topics on there as well.
07:05I recommend checking that out.
07:07Additionally, I recommend checking out an Edo to English dictionary or Edo to, like, whatever language you speak, which typically
07:15you can find with a Google search.
07:18But I also dropped some links to some Edo to English specifically, so feel free to check that out.
07:25And then I also put some links to some podcast episodes that I found very helpful just for learning some
07:31vocabulary.
07:31All right, so you guys know I like to include, like, you know, my mom or my dad in the
07:36video so you guys can hear some real, real vanilla words, right?
07:45So you guys can, like, talk a gist, and, yeah, because that's always fun.
07:53So I'm going to head over there now.
08:03Hope if it doesn't gel, you will delete it, right?
08:07Hope if it doesn't gel, you will delete it, right?
08:13Victoria, I'll make a lot of efforts to, in-handle, to do, which I'll make a lot of effort, which
08:25I'll make a lot of effort.
08:26Hope if it doesn't gel, I'll make a lot of effort.
08:29Hope if it doesn't gel, I'll make a lot of effort.
08:36Hope if it doesn't gel, I'll make a lot of effort.
08:45Lawrence.
08:46Persia m' inconsiderate.
08:47I think it will be a beautiful experience for her.
08:53I think with the effort you make so far

10:11what's next right well like i mentioned i'm on week two of eight of the adult course i'm gonna
10:17keep going through that hopefully keep picking stuff up and i think i have like a lot of things
10:22that i can study on my own between the edo language institute videos and you know those resources so
10:31hopefully there will be another progress video sooner rather than later no guarantees though
10:36um but as always let the comments be you know a place to share resources that you may have found
10:43your experiences if you're learning a doe language or if you're not but you're learning another
10:47language or just none of the above if you want to say hi i always really enjoy reading through the
10:52comments and um replying to them so yeah you know we're trying to be a little community here
10:58but yes i hope to see y'all in a another video soon thanks for watching till the end
