00:00Hi, nice to meet you.
00:01Ciao!
00:03Ciao!
00:08Oh, non fa per me, io torno al campus a studiare!
00:11Ciao!
00:13Posso?
00:16Questo è per te.
00:18La tua presenza qui, non so se mi fa bene.
00:21Ci vediamo, Pigeon.
00:22Do you believe that true love is holding up the head of the person you love when he or she
00:30is drunk?
00:32I think that can be definitely one way to let someone know that you love them.
00:38Maybe true love is not being afraid to hold someone's hair while they're throwing up drunk.
00:43Yeah, no, I think it's, I definitely think it's an act of love.
00:46This is not the usual rom-com, because there's a lot of, also, action scenes.
00:54Maybe it's more like an action movie than a rom-com.
00:59So I was being really engaged in such scenes that are almost like stunts.
01:08That was one of the reasons that I was initially so drawn to the script,
01:12is that it seemed, on top of being very funny and very romantic,
01:18that it was very physical of a role for me to take on.
01:21And so I was interested in doing that.
01:23We had an amazing stunt team in Bulgaria,
01:26and we trained very much to make sure that those scenes looked fun and flashy.
01:32And so that was, it's some of my favorite memories from set.
01:36However, it was filmed in Bulgaria in the winter.
01:39So when I was shirtless in a lot of those fight scenes, I was quite cold.
01:43What was more difficult, trying to kiss Abby?
01:46Because you two have some interesting love scenes,
01:50or trying to beat Chernobyl?
01:56That's a funny question.
01:59Well, well, what to say?
02:03None of the intimacy scenes at any moment were ever really difficult,
02:07because we had a wonderful intimacy coordinator named Corinne Evans,
02:10who helped through all of that.
02:12So as much as it would be funny to say it was hard to kiss Ginny,
02:17I do think...
02:17So offended.
02:18I do think it was definitely beating Chernobyl.
02:22And, you know, there was this one anecdote I remember,
02:24where I get, like, whipped by a chain.
02:28And I remember the actor who was playing Chernobyl explained to me,
02:32he's like, hey, look, this is a plastic chain,
02:34but it's going to feel like metal,
02:37because there's no way I can not make a chain whip hurt.
02:43Which I didn't think that through before we started acting in the scene,
02:48but, yeah, I was pretty hurt during that afterwards.
02:51I say difficult, because you two almost destroy a hotel room,
02:56so it was quite intense, yeah.
03:00And, Virginia, Evie says that she wants to live a normal life,
03:05but we see that she can do that.
03:10Do you believe that it's really a desire
03:14that we all feel living a normal life,
03:19or is it something that just this precise character wants?
03:24I think it depends on the person.
03:26I think some people are, I mean,
03:28in what you would say is a quote-unquote normal life,
03:31I think what some people could consider normal,
03:33other people may consider something else.
03:35So it's sort of a tough question to answer,
03:38but I can speak for Abby,
03:39and I think for Abby, when she says she wants a normal life,
03:42she wants to go to college,
03:43she wants to have friends,
03:45she doesn't want to be in Vegas,
03:46she doesn't want to be forced to play poker or to gamble,
03:49she wants a family,
03:50so that's a normalcy to her and what she wants.
03:53I read that you really had a poker lesson for this movie.
03:58Are you now really skilled,
04:01and when you play with your friends,
04:02you steal all their money?
04:07Are you good now?
04:09I would like to believe I'm pretty good now,
04:11but I have not played with my friends or stolen their money,
04:13but maybe one of these days I will.
04:15You should think about it.
04:16Yeah.
04:17The first thing that she says in the beginning of the movie
04:20is that she wants a fresh start.
04:24It's not easy.
04:25In your opinion, to you both,
04:26how can we have a fresh start?
04:28I think there are so many ways for someone
04:30to have a fresh start in life,
04:32and again, the description of what a fresh start really means
04:35I think could be different for so many people,
04:38but in our film, for Abby,
04:40it meant leaving her hometown,
04:41and it meant going to college,
04:43and sort of changing the way that she looked,
04:45and just not wanting anything from her past to follow her.
04:48She wanted to be able to create new memories
04:51and make new friends
04:52without anyone having any preconceived notions of her
04:55because of what happened in her past.
04:56Yeah, I think,
04:58maybe this sounds a little too lofty,
05:00but I think that a fresh start really is
05:03starting fresh mentally, right?
05:05Like, that's where I think the first step would be,
05:08and that can be done anywhere,
05:11as long as you are willing to make some changes, I guess.
05:15Okay, thank you so much.
05:16Thank you.
05:17Bye.
05:18Bye.
05:21Bye.
05:25Bye.
05:25Bye.
05:25Bye.
05:27Bye.
05:28Bye.
