01:33When I watch a movie, I think it's so much fun when it goes from being funny to sad to
01:37from being serious to scary, I love that it can do that and I think horror allows filmmakers
01:42to play in this way that's really great.
01:46And I also think it's the best genre to have serious conversations.
01:51I think it, because you loosen up the tension a little bit, you can really talk about, I
01:57did a movie, Get Out, that was about race, like one of the most serious subjects in our
02:02world, especially in America, but because there were these moments of humor and because
02:07it was scary, it sort of allowed us to have a different conversation about it.
02:11And for technology and family and all of those ethical things, I think it does the same
02:15for Megan.
02:16Speaking about Get Out, are you glad that the movie is on the sight and sound best 100

02:25It's a new entry.

02:33I mean, I was so excited to be in that movie.

03:10It's funny because I think that question of who to trust, who's the good guy, I think
03:17in this movie, the ambiguity of it is really important.
03:19And it's something that we wanted.
03:22The whole time in the beginning you really want Gemma to succeed because you want her
03:26to do a better job of taking care of Katie.
03:28We can feel that she wants to do a good job.
03:30She just has no idea how.
03:32She doesn't know how to talk to her.
03:34She doesn't know what kids like to do.
03:35She doesn't even know to give her a hug or anything.
03:38You know, it's… that doesn't come naturally to her.
03:42My belief is that after the movie ends probably they become much closer and they start to get
03:47into a rhythm, but in the beginning certainly we are just yelling at her through the screen
03:53like just… just give her a hug, just let her cry, just listen to her, you know, but
03:59she just is… she… her whole life has been spent focused on other things.

04:21I think it's really important that we all… as time goes on, as new technology appears,
04:26I think it's important that we all keep thinking about what our relationship is and what is
04:30too much reliance on technology, what is not understanding the way it works enough.
04:35I mean, nowadays when you go to many stores and airports in America, for example, and
04:39I'm sure the same is true in parts of Italy, you go into a store and you don't interact
04:42with any people.
04:43You check out by yourself, there's just machines.
04:47So if you don't know how to use any technology, you're certainly at a disadvantage today.
04:51But then for all of my friends who have kids who are older, who desperately want cell phones,
04:55desperately want to just play video games all day, you want them to appreciate the real
05:00world as well.
05:01So it's a conversation that I think everyone is having.
05:03It's very important so we can decide what kind of world we want to have.
