00:00Art is a super power.
00:20In this movie, one of the little superheroes has her voice as a super power.
00:26So, in your opinion, art can be a super power.
00:31Oh, yeah, for sure. Art is a super power. Definitely. I definitely believe that.
00:35And I think as people get into art, especially kids, they'll see that it's a super power.
00:39There's something magical about when you go to create art.
00:42Something comes through you that sometimes can even tell the true future.
00:46I found it many times. I was able to draw things and they would come true later.
00:51They would come true very visually, very strikingly.
00:54And you're tapping into something when you're in the art world.
00:57It is when you're an artist, your one foot's already in that magical world anyway.
01:01It's very that's why artists love being artists. There's something magical about it.
01:05So I thought, take that idea that is actually very true.
01:09I don't even know what science backs it up, but it's it's just common and make it one of the
01:15superpowers
01:16that kids will want to gain that power by getting into art.
01:19And then they'll find that it's actually has mystical magical powers, actually.
01:23So there is some truth to that, for sure.
01:26That's one of my favorite several.
01:27The singer, the artist, you know, it's based on my daughter.
01:31She's always drawing on her iPad, draws this incredible drawing.
01:35She can create her own characters.
01:37She's manifesting things.
01:39She's also singing all the time around the house.
01:41So the other character is also based on my daughter, the singing one, where her voice is her power.
01:45I love those that kids can relate to because then they go, oh, I sing all the time like acapella.
01:50So that must be my superpower.
01:52It becomes a superpower.
01:53Art is a superpower.
01:54That's definitely a great observation to make.
01:56In this movie, there's a lot of hope in new generation,
01:59because they say that the new generation is always more evolved.
02:04The problem are the adults.
02:06So in your opinion, what makes a good parent?
02:10A good parent is one that realizes they don't know everything.
02:14One that, and I learned that with my five kids, you know, you have to listen to what their ideas
02:19are.
02:19They're coming in with fresh, new, evolved ideas.
02:22And you mentor as much as you can.
02:24You don't want to just be the nagging parent.
02:26You want to be the mentor, the one who is going to be their friend and their confidant and their
02:30coach
02:32and a good teacher.
02:34And just like teachers would tell you, they learn probably more from their students than
02:38the students are going to learn from them.
02:39You have to be willing to learn from them because they're coming at you with their own thing.
02:43So that mentorship is going to be a big part of this film.
02:48And if we get to do more films, it would be a big part of any future films because it's
02:51a
02:51very truism.
02:53And it's a way of parenting that I've just learned being one of 10 and now having five of my
02:57own.
02:57I want to impart some of these things, seeing how my kids turned out.
03:01I want to impart some of these things in these movies because I think it would be helpful
03:05for parents on how to partner with their children.
03:09You know, not so much just parent them, but partner with them.
03:12I want to impart some of these things in this film.
03:16Bravo, fast forward.
