00:18£13.6 million grant from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Plans include resurfacing
00:26the carriageway, upgrading drainage and installing dropped kerbs and tactile crossings. A junction at
00:33Picton Road with Rathbone Road and Wellington Road would gain controlled pedestrian crossings.
00:38The council says the project aims to improve journey reliability, safety and access.
