00:00The Fastest Horse of the Week is brought to you by the Fast Sires at Windstar Farm.
00:05This week, let's talk about Timberlake, their grade one winning juvenile buy-in to mischief.
00:11If you recall, Timberlake won the Champagne Stakes as a two-year-old,
00:14and finishing behind him in that race was fierceness.
00:18And now, Timberlake's foals are stepping out into their first stage.
00:22Here's a couple for your admiration.
00:25Here's a colt out of Liffey, photographed at just 28 days old, bred by Judy Hicks,
00:31who's also the breeder of Torpedo Anna.
00:34And this is a 38-day-old foal out of Cora Pearl, bred by Maribu Farm and Pegasus Stud.
00:43No telling what the others are going to look like.
00:45Timberlake stands at Windstar Farm for a fee of $15,000.
00:50Fastest Horse of the Week ran in that race I know you guys are all familiar with.
00:54The Big Daddy Stakes at Turfway Park on Saturday.
00:58His name was Joe Shiesty.
01:00Joe Shiesty has been a sprinter of some success in Kentucky.
01:04He loves Turfway Park, 4-for-7 lifetime.
01:07And all he did in his first start of 2026 in the Big Daddy was to draw off and win
01:12by six and a quarter lengths
01:14with a career-high buyer speed figure of 104, co-owned by the Foster Family Racing and Lonnie Reynolds,
01:21trained by Eric Foster.
01:22You might remember Eric as the trainer of Everland, who won the Bourbonette Oaks
01:27and went on to finish fifth in Torpedo Anna's Kentucky Oaks,
01:30and Ketadan, who took down the $750,000 Dueling Grounds Derby back in the day.
01:38So congratulations to the Fosters.
01:40Joe Shiesty, your Fastest Horse of the Week.
