00:00I want to see, like, how does...
00:02Yeah, who do you call?
00:04Cutsbester.
00:07Sorry.
00:08No, but how did you, I mean, who do you, I mean, how do you call an agency?
00:11So I started, I started just making all these different lists and ideas of what I wanted to do.
00:18And then I contacted other girls that were in the industry.
00:22So I kind of had an idea of what I should expect to get paid and what companies to avoid.
00:29And then I started just going on different message boards and sort of gathering the same information.
00:34So I had a list of people to avoid, 100%, and then a list of agencies.
00:40So I emailed four or five different agencies.
00:48Nobody, I think one maybe emailed me back.
00:51And then they were, like, hard to actually get on the phone.
00:54And this is 2006, so not everybody has smartphones.
00:59For me, if you can pick up the phone and call, that's a big deal.
01:02And the first person who actually called me was the one agent that I ended up working with.
01:08And he called me and he goes,
01:10Yeah, if you really look like this, if you're really down to do all these things, you're going to make
01:15it far.
01:16You got your own car?
01:17Yeah.
01:18This is your phone you're calling from?
01:20Yeah.
01:21Okay, great.
01:23Wow.
01:23I would have hauled up the phone.
01:25That's fucking aggressive.
01:26I was like, yeah.
01:28Yeah, okay.
01:30So what I did, I guess I did all of that, like, quasi-research for six months or so.
01:37And then I ended up driving down to LA for a week to look for an apartment.
01:42And then in that time, I was hoping, oh, in this week, I'll find an agent.
01:46How hard is it?
01:47And during that week, nobody called me.
01:50Only the one email.
01:52And actually, on my way home, back to Sacramento, I was driving home.
01:56That's when I got that phone call.
01:58So I was like, well, I'll be back in a week.
02:00I'm actually moving here.
02:02Wow.
02:02Now, what was the, do you remember the first scene you did?
02:05Yeah.
02:06Were you nervous?
02:08I was.
02:08And it was that hurry up and wait feeling of being on a set, right?
02:14So it was also an orgy.
02:17Oh, whoa.
02:18So at first, it's like, fuck, this is it.
02:23And I had the entire day to change my mind, you know, because we were waiting so, and I
02:28hated that wait, that period of having to wait.
02:33And at first, it felt that that would be the most intimidating kind of scene to do, especially
02:39for your first scene.
02:40But then once I was actually in it and fucking, it was actually the best because I was working
02:46with one of the most respected directors in the industry and with all of the top talent.
02:51Wow.
02:51So being there, I felt like, okay, the pressure's actually not on me.
02:55Yeah.
02:55It's, and I can kind of ride on, on the other people because they're more experienced.
03:05So I can just watch, observe, and see how it goes.
03:09And it actually ended up probably being a really great experience.
03:13And then my agent came on set at the end of the, at that point, night, was like, it's
03:18all downhill from here, kid.
03:21Wow, that's funny.
03:22All right, okay.
03:23So basically, it's like me being just a young actor and getting like Ocean's Eleven is my
03:29first thing.
03:30Yeah.
03:31Yeah.
03:31That's basically what it's like, oh, there's Brad Pitt and Matt Dade.
03:33That's what your situation was.
03:34Basically, yeah.
03:35Yeah, wow.
03:36Rocco was the first.
03:37I love Rocco.
03:38Yeah.
03:39Rocco.
03:40Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:41I love that guy.
03:42Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:42So quick.
03:43So if I, now, since you're out of the business, if I could throw through some companies your way,
03:50can you tell me if you like them or not, or no?
03:54Like one side.
03:55Like Red Light District, are they good?
03:56Oh.
03:58Do they have good benefits?
03:59Yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:59Are there employees taking care of?
04:00Devil's Films, are they good?
04:03I don't know them.
04:04Did you work for Red Light District?
04:05Yeah.
04:06Do you like them?
04:07Yeah, they were cool.
04:07Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:08I like that company.
04:09Yeah?
04:10Yeah.
04:11I think in a different life, if comedy didn't work out for you, I feel like you would have
04:14been an agent of sorts.
04:16A porn agent?
04:16For adult.
04:17Oh, no, I would have my own production company.
04:20I would be like a Devil's Films.
