00:03And it starts with Conor Griffith, Tom.
00:05I've talked to you multiple times this week alone.
00:06Just as we go in the early line, he is ripping the cover off of the baseball,
00:10expected to do big things.
00:11Nolan McClain is in the WBC, expected to be a very good pitcher once again here
00:15for the New York Mets.
00:16I see a lot more names that I recognize in the NL than I do right now in the AL,
00:21Tom.
00:22Yeah, we have some of these players that we know or pitched a little bit last year,
00:25Bubba Chandler, Logan Henderson.
00:27Again, I think it's tough to trust a pitcher for a rookie of the year,
00:32just knowing that they may scale down his innings at a certain point
00:35or they may limit them to a certain aspect.
00:37I think Bubba Chandler really should be a fantastic pitcher.
00:41Same thing with Logan Henderson.
00:42To me, I like Carson Binge for the New York Mets,
00:45especially where the betting odds are.
00:46Now, listen, if I had to pick a player to win it,
00:49I truly think Conor Griffin will win the award,
00:51but I don't necessarily want to bet on him to win the award.
00:54Carson Binge is the combination of, again,
00:56a player that could play every day for the Mets is going to be hitting in a great lineup.
01:00And I also believe the Mets will be good in a lot of the counting stats.
01:02It's kind of the same thing as Kevin McGonigal,
01:04where the stats, the combination of the team,
01:06potentially winning the division, all fall in line for the Mets.
01:09We've got to remember, the Mets are the favorites to win the NL East,
01:12despite the fact that I don't think they should be.
01:14And I like the Braves as a bet to win the NL East.
01:17The Mets are the current favorite.
01:18So everything falls in line for Carson Binge to do the same thing as Kevin McGonigal,
01:23where we have good odds, we'll have the stats,
01:25and he hits on a good team when it's all said and done.
01:27Again, Conor Griffin is my actual pick to win the award.
