00:09the American League West, 50 and 46 for the Strohs, four games above 500.

00:16Houston enters the all-star break victorious in 17 of their last 23, despite losing their

00:22final weekend series against the Texas Rangers.

00:25You see the odds associated, now the question, buy or sell?

00:29The Astros are World Series contenders in 2024.

00:34I'm going to sell that.

00:36And the reason I say that is, let's just say they do win the division.

00:38If there was a buy and sell on each one of those, I might buy the divisional price, but

00:43I'm going to sell the World Series price.

00:44But the question is about the World Series.

00:46So if you're being honest, you look at the FanBlue Sportsbook and you say, what are the

00:49odds for the Houston Astros to win?

00:52It's 20 to one to be World Series champions.

00:54That's not a bad price.

00:55It's not necessarily a long shot price per se, where it's like, okay, 50 and 60 to one.

01:00They have a legitimate chance to win this based on the odds.

01:02But the way I look at it here, if you are a true contender, that means Donnie Wrightside

01:07actually believes that you can win a World Series.

01:10I don't think they're World Series contenders.

01:11Why?

01:12Because I don't think they can win the World Series.

01:14When I look at the American League, it's still going to be the Baltimore Orioles and

01:16the New York Yankees.

01:17You still have the Guardians, the Twins, some other decent teams in there, which go now

01:21with the Houston Astros.

01:22Don't credit them.

01:23Three weeks ago, we were writing their obituary, and rightfully so, because they weren't a

01:27good baseball team.

01:28They've played better baseball.

01:29They're in a division that can't get a grip on itself.

01:31Talking about you, Seattle Mariners, right now, that should have a 5-6-7 game lead in

01:35that division, but you let that slip away.

01:37So the simple answer to that question for me is, if I don't think they can win the World

01:41Series, I can't say, Ben, that they're contenders.
