00:19I understand a lot of people will be questioning why I would take all four babies by myself.
00:24Where is my husband? Why can I ask for help? Can a friend come with me?
00:29Why don't you change the appointment?
00:32Just know that my husband and I are doing the best that we can with what we have.
00:36And I am completely comfortable taking all four babies by myself to their doctor's appointment while my husband takes my
00:43oldest son to school.
00:45Is it ideal? No. Is it possible? Absolutely.
00:50Thankfully, my husband and I work very well together.
00:52He woke up earlier this morning to get all of the babies up and fed so I could get some
00:58extra sleep.
00:59Once I was up and dressed, it was time to get the babies changed to load them into the car
01:04seat and then into the car.
01:06I have to admit, I am very proud of myself.
01:08I was able to get all four babies dressed and changed in 12 minutes.
01:13This is something that usually takes me 20 minutes or more.
01:17But unfortunately, I did not have enough time to pump this morning, so I will be taking formula and pumping
01:23on the way to the doctor's appointment.
01:26Although I feel comfortable taking all four babies by myself, I want to make sure I am prepared, so I
01:31will be taking this portable sound machine to try with the quads.
01:34Once all of the babies were loaded into their car seat, it was time to load them into the car.
01:39This is the most annoying and difficult task about having quadruplets.
01:44Please know we test drove all of the options out there.
01:47A minivan, an SUV, you name it, we tried it.
01:51And unless I was comfortable driving a school bus, this task was never going to get easier on any other
01:56car.
01:57This is yet another reason why I envy triplet moms, because they can at least align three car seats in
02:04one row.
02:04But once you have quadruplets, there is no row that will fit four car seats.
02:09And since we have an older son, this makes this task a little more difficult.
02:14I know some people will think I am complaining, but what I'm doing is actually showing the reality and difficulties
02:20of having quadruplets.
02:21After 20 minutes to load all of the babies into the car and a 30-minute drive, we finally made
02:27it to our doctor's appointment.
02:29Thankfully, these portable sound machines have worked like a charm, and all of the babies have remained calm for the
02:34appointment.
02:38Now we wait for their shots so we can head home.
