01:11The Israel Defense Forces claims it struck more than 400 targets in western Iran within the
01:18past 24 hours, in what it says is an effort to cripple Iran's missile capabilities and
01:24air defense systems.
01:26Meanwhile, Israel has also opened another front in Lebanon.
01:31Heavy Israeli airstrikes pounded the southern suburbs of Beirut, particularly the Hezbollah-dominated
01:38districts of Daye and Haaret HaReik.
01:41Residents were ordered to evacuate shortly before the strikes, but large fires and widespread
01:47destruction were reported.
01:49Lebanon's health ministry says at least 72 people have been killed and hundreds more wounded
01:56since the fighting expanded into the country.
01:59Hezbollah has retaliated by firing rockets into northern Israel, raising fears of a wider war
02:05along the Israel-Lebanon border.
02:08Iran has also responded with a fresh wave of missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli
02:14cities, including Tel Aviv, as well as U.S. military installations across the Gulf region.
02:21Iranian projectiles were reportedly intercepted over multiple countries, including Kuwait, Saudi
02:28Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, where more than 100 drones were shot down.
02:34The conflict was triggered after a joint U.S.-Israeli operation on February 28 killed Iran's Supreme
02:42Leader Ali Khamenei, dramatically escalating tensions across the region.
02:48U.S. President Donald Trump has since demanded Iran's unconditional surrender and warned that
02:55American military involvement could intensify further.
02:59Analysts now warn that Israel's strikes on both Tehran and Beirut signal a broader strategy,
03:06to weaken Iran directly while dismantling its network of regional proxies, especially Hezbollah.
03:13With missile exchanges continuing and new fronts opening, fears are growing that the Middle East
03:19could be heading toward a prolonged multi-front war.
03:22And as civilians flee cities in both Iran and Lebanon, the humanitarian toll of the conflict
03:30is mounting rapidly.
