U.S. President Donald Trump says he would be 'all for' an uprising by Kurdish groups against Iran as the conflict in the Middle East continues to widen.

00:17The comments come amid reports that U.S. officials are in talks with opposition Kurdish forces
00:23about possible support for an insurgency within the country.
00:27Meanwhile, Israel has launched a broad wave of attacks on Beirut and Tehran,
00:32targeting infrastructures as the war enters a seventh day.
00:36Iran, meanwhile, says it fired missiles towards Tel Aviv and also targeted multiple cities across the Gulf.
00:43Among them, an overnight drone attack targeted the U.S. airbase at Al-Udid in Qatar,
00:49the largest American military facility in the region.
00:53Officials say there were no casualties.
00:55The war is now expanding beyond the Middle East.
00:59Iran has targeted Cyprus, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
01:03And in the Indian Ocean, a U.S. submarine has sunk an Iranian warship.
01:08Separately, the President also told Reuters that the U.S. must be involved in choosing Iran's next leader.
