00:00U.S. President Donald Trump has been giving mixed messages on the state of the conflict with Iran and when
00:06it might end.
00:07Speaking in a series of interviews and press briefing, Trump had said the war could be nearing its end,
00:14noting that American and Israeli forces have already crippled much of Iran's military infrastructure.
00:20But he also vowed that the U.S. would continue with further strikes.
00:28Mr. President, you've said the war is, quote, very complete, but your defense secretary says this is just the beginning.
00:33So which is it, and how long should Americans be there?
00:36Well, I think you could say it both.
00:37The beginning, it's the beginning of building a new country, but they certainly, they have no Navy, they have no
00:43Air Force,
00:44they have no anti-aircraft equipment, it's all been blown up.
00:49They have no radar, they have no telecommunications, and they have no leadership.
00:54It's all gone.
00:56So, you know, you could look at that statement.
00:59We could call it a tremendous success right now as we leave here, I could call it,
01:04or we could go further, and we're going to go further.
01:08So, we'll be going to talk to you later.
