00:00Mohamed Iwara, the 51st overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft, came into this season as a
00:06developmental rookie. But with the playoffs approaching, the question isn't whether or
00:10not he has a future, it's whether or not he deserves a more expanded role right now.
00:15He seems like the type of player who's a high IQ player who knows every player's position on the
00:21court, what they should be doing on offense. We've seen he'll be running the offense at points and
00:26getting people into their position, making those quick decisions. And his level of improvisation
00:31as a rookie is something to be excited about. Do you think it's realistic to think that Iwara
00:38could earn real rotation minutes in the postseason? I not only think it's realistic, I think it might
00:44be necessary. The emergence of Iwara has helped the Knicks to increase their depth on the bench
00:51with confident and competent role players. In the playoffs, it's players that you can trust to
00:57execute. And Iwara is slowly developing that experience in high pressure situations, in
01:04different scenarios. Mohamed Iwara just might force his way into the Knicks playoff rotation.
