00:14And I've noticed from a lot of media, a lot of the hosts, a lot of the fans,
00:19is their response to a trade for A.J. Brown is,
00:24oh, I'm not giving up a first-round draft pick for A.J. Brown.
00:26Oh, wow. All right, maybe the late second, and they have to give us something back in return.
00:32But a third-round draft pick, we're not giving up a lot for A.J. Brown.
00:36He makes a lot of money, and he's a pain in the ass.
00:38That's wild.
00:39And, you know, it is.
00:41You would think that everybody would say, hey, he puts us over the top.
00:47The wide receivers clearly needed an upgrade, whether or not they made the Super Bowl last year.
00:52So my response to that, to what the fans and the media are saying in Boston
00:56about the Patriots trading for A.J. Brown, they're very lukewarm to the idea.

01:04The Patriots, I believe, are closer to missing the playoffs next year
01:08than to getting back to the Super Bowl.

01:11Look at the Washington Commanders.
01:13They make the NFC Championship game.
01:15They lose to the Eagles.
01:16What does every member of Washington media and Washington fans say?
01:20Oh, man, our young quarterback, with our roster, with our head coach, we'll be back.
01:25We're going to win the NFC East this year.
01:28No question about it.
01:29Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp.
01:30You're feeling really confident.
01:31They just had a really good year last year.
01:33So did the Patriots.
01:34And what happened to Washington last year?
01:36Yep.
01:36Washington didn't have a ton of talent.
01:38They had a great quarterback play from a young quarterback.
01:41There was the league responded to that and reacted to that.
01:46And they had a lot of injuries.
01:47And they also, the balls that bounced the right way that year didn't bounce that way last year.
01:52The Patriots last year played a historically bad schedule.
01:56They were a last place team.
01:57It was a historically bad schedule.
01:59They don't have a ton of talent on that team.
02:01If you think just by coming back and Drake May was the runner up in being the MVP,
02:07if you think just coming back is going to put you back in the Super Bowl, no, it's not.
