00:00Grazie per questa nuova avventura.
00:02Questa è una storia originale.
00:05In qualche modo, per una sequela è più comforzante
00:11perché lavoravi sulle caratteristiche,
00:15ma questa è una storia originale,
00:18e cosa è la cosa più divertente
00:20di lavorare su una nuova avventura,
00:24sulle caratteristiche,
00:26sulle storie per le persone?
00:28I like that you're not bound by anything.
00:32The sky's the limit.
00:34A sequel,
00:36it's like you get bounded into a world
00:40and you want to expand it,
00:43but the audience also wants you to stay within a certain parameter.
00:46I do think the beautiful thing about going into development
00:50is you could just do whatever you want
00:52and you could make a character out of nothing
00:56and you could just build...
00:58I don't know, there's something just thrilling
00:59about getting to build something from the ground up.
01:01I do remember coming into development and I entered the story room
01:05and it was completely blank.
01:07and it's scary but it's also thrilling.
01:10You're just like all the possibilities.
01:11I think for both of them,
01:13the thing that's the best about it is the thing that's also the most difficult.
01:16And with a sequel,
01:18you're bound by the rules that you established in the first one
01:21and so you have to keep remembering that
01:24and that constrains you so you don't have that kind of freedom.
01:26but on the other hand with a new one where everything is possible,
01:30everything is possible.
01:32And it's very hard to then make it all work together
01:36and you have to get rid of things that you love
01:38which is true in all films
01:40but because everything is possible,
01:42there's a lot more that you end up having to throw away.
01:45To me, King George is a great character.
01:48My favorite, absolute favorite kid in this movie.
01:51And I think that the third point rule,
01:54the one who says we are all under the same sky.
01:58Yes, I think it's a nice way to live life
02:02and I think a really good advice.
02:05What do you think about we are all under the same sky?
02:10Yeah, I mean, I honestly really like, I mean, in America,
02:14we say, you know, we're all in this together
02:16but I actually like, it's very poetic,
02:18the Italian kind of translation.
02:20It definitely means the same thing
02:22but it's just slightly more poetic than what we wrote.
02:25But yeah, I mean, to me, it helps to under,
02:28what we thought, what we were working at
02:31was that King George has cracked the code to be this leader.
02:35He's come up with all these rules.
02:36A lot of them contradict each other.
02:37It sounds like a mess.
02:39Mabel calls it out, like none of these make sense.
02:41But the reality is really what it comes down to
02:43is that we all have responsibility for each other.
02:46We all care about each other and that's what matters.
02:48And that's the ruling, the guide, you know, more than anything.
02:52And I think that that's the power of a statement like that.
02:56Yeah.
02:57Yeah.
02:58Yeah.
02:58Yeah.
02:59That's true.
02:59Okay.
03:00Yeah.
03:00Yeah.
03:00Grazie.
