00:02An 18-year-old Yemeni teenager was killed and three other foreign youths injured when
00:08their car skidded and plunged into a four-metre-deep ravine along the Kuala Lumpur-Kahrak Highway
00:14early Thursday.
00:15Salangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis
00:21Mokhtar said the department received an emergency call at 4.47am regarding the accident at
00:28kilometre 27.4 heading towards Karak.
00:32A team from the Salayang Fire and Rescue Station, about 17 kilometres away, arrived at 5.03am
00:39and found four men trapped inside the vehicle.
00:42The 18-year-old Yemeni was pronounced dead at the scene by medical officers.
00:47The three other victims were a 19-year-old Yemeni who suffered minor injuries, a 20-year-old
00:53Yemeni with a fractured right arm and an 18-year-old Iraqi with head and arm injuries.
01:00They were taken to hospital for treatment.
01:03Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
