The safety and welfare of all Malaysians currently in the Middle East, which is in turmoil following Iran's war with Israel and the United States (US), is the government's priority, says Madani government spokesman Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
Speaking at the post-Cabinet Meeting press conference here Wednesday (March 4), Fahmi, who is also the Communications Minister, said the Wisma Putra notified the Cabinet of this today, including the latest information and feedback regarding Malaysians in the Middle East.
He added that the government's priority now is to ensure that the safety of Malaysians is assured at all times, be it those who are stranded due to the unavailability of flights to return home or those residing in the countries affected by what is happening in Iran following the attack by the Zionist Israeli regime.
