00:00Do you think the ends will justify the means?
00:02I mean, it's a pretty dire outlook.
00:04I mean, well, I think the outlook is ridiculous, honestly.
00:07I mean, we don't even get our oil from the Strait of Hormuz.
00:09Most of that goes to China.
00:11That's what Iranian oil mostly goes to China at a discount.
00:13It affects world oil prices.
00:16That focuses much around the world.
00:18We'll just produce more here.
00:19We've got the United States.
00:20It's not 1975 anymore.
00:22We have back in.
00:23We have incredible oil.
00:24We are the biggest oil-producing country in the world.
00:26In the United States, we'll be fine.
00:27In fact, this will actually probably improve things for our producers, meaning that we
00:31can exploit even more oil.
00:32But do you think your allies will be fine and happy if their oil prices are going up as
00:38the result of American absence?
00:40They've already signed up to start, like, the Saudis and the Qataris.
00:44They're already going to start responding militarily to Iran.
00:48George's argument here seems to be the Iranian strategy was to start lobbying drones and missiles
00:54that Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and everybody else in the Gulf in the hopes that they would
00:58pressure the United States and get them to stop the war.
01:01Instead, they're all joining the war on the United States side.
01:03Talk about a self-inflicted wound.
01:05This is actually going to do more to unite the Arab world behind a United States and Israel-led
01:10world order than just about anything.
01:12It's, I mean, just again, the Iranian strategy here was completely misguided from the outset.
01:17They seem to not understand the meaning of the 12-day war.
01:20It was the United States and Israel, in particular President Trump, gave the Iranians an off-ramp.
01:26They should have understood that we had them beaten, that after the 12-day war, they had
01:30no meaningful ability to resist the United States in any protracted conflict.
01:33And instead, they were still insisting on the right to enrich uranium, still trying to
01:37reconstitute their every program that we had hit.
01:40Well, guess what?
01:40This is what happens.
