00:01One of the worst things you could ever do is win.
00:04Once you've won that downhill race, that cross-country race,
00:06you will chase that feeling forever to get back there.
00:11I'm just building more confidence and realizing, like, I could win now.
00:15You're allowed to do anything crazy.
00:17Everybody makes me feel like I have to.
00:21Everyone was expecting me to win. Everyone.
00:30If you want it, come on and get it.
00:33Oh, you got it going on.
00:36Where you going? I can tag along.
00:39Turn up the beat and make you feel the bass.
00:41Boom, boom, boom.
00:43Oh, this is a bit embarrassing.
00:46I guess, welcome to race tapes?
00:49You're probably wondering why you're staring at a puppet.
00:51Well, I get your surprise when the thumbnail was all about these fine folks.
01:00I figured I'd slap your typical sport doc with some extra sriracha.
01:05What's that?
01:06Your partner's not down with mountain biking?
01:09Pushing for a rom-com? Hmm.
01:11Okay.
01:12I've got something everyone can get behind, right?
01:15Speed.
01:17Thriller victory.
01:19Agony of defeat.
01:20Ooh.
01:23Ah.
01:31Cross-country mountain bike racing is going to your maximum heart rate.
01:37Where your body is on fire, your mind is telling you to stop because that's not a natural place to
01:41go and push through.
01:43It's 90 minutes.
01:45Downhill is probably the epitome of our sport.
01:48It's maybe the most exciting, adrenaline-filled aspect of mountain biking.
01:54We don't have many races to make our mark.
01:57Normally there's around seven or eight rounds.
02:02Buckle up, buttercup. Straight to the top of the hill.
02:05Damn!
02:05Up right to the other hard nine.
02:08You just pull it to the spot with a few tips out.
02:10Everybody move around.
02:11Make a shot.
02:12Everyone strives for that one position.
02:14There's one dude.
02:15There's one woman in the world that can have that spot.
02:18It's the pinnacle of what we strive every day for.
02:21I make the crowd lose it.
02:23When I spit a ball, make a feeling I lose it.
02:24If you're winning races, you are flush with cash.
02:27And if you haven't performed, and you haven't got that win...
02:31Unfortunately, maybe you could get a job.
02:37It's about the technical ability of the rider.
02:40It's about the bike setup, the team, the conditions.
02:43So many variables that you can't control.
02:46Three.
02:47The media is here, the spectators.
02:52The roaring crowd is the most surreal moment.
02:57The winning margins are so tight.
03:00It can be that .001 that makes the difference.
03:04This is the man they're all talking about.
03:06Everything has to be perfect.
03:09You are tapped out to your max, and you have to keep pushing,
03:12because you have to finish that race.
03:14Don't be a bitch.
03:15To see the speeds they take, the risk is insane.
03:20We've got some pretty special athletes in our sport.
03:23My name is Vilja Blanc.
03:25I'm Ace of Vermette.
03:26Dakota Norton.
03:27Martin Vidaure.
03:28Miriam Nicole.
03:30Miriam Nicole!
03:31Can she get her down?
03:33Every lap is a new lap.
03:34You only have to be good for one lap.
03:36Dakota Norton is back.
03:38You have to win.
03:40You have to perform.
03:41Collarbone!
03:42What?
03:44Ace of Vermette, welcome to the big stage.
03:47The second part was so hard.
03:50When you win, the pressure doesn't go down.
03:52The expectations, they just go up.
03:54We don't have the entire season to get there.
03:56The season for the last season, they don't have to go.
03:59If you're comfortable amongst the chaos...
04:05That's where you'll become a champion.
04:17Ah, it's a freaking puppet.
04:20When this thing comes up, bad things are happening.
04:26Oh boy.
04:28Let's keep him away.
04:31Welcome to a brand new season of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series.
04:36The team landscape has changed significantly for 2024.
04:48One new outfit that is making a lot of noise is Mondraker Factory Racing.
04:52They've got a menacing stable.
04:55Mondraker, one of the most exciting teams that we've seen in a long time.
04:59And you've got Dakota Norton.
05:00And I really think he's going to be the next guy to break out and get a race win.
05:03And then Ronan Dunn could break out and get a race win.
05:08Dakota, after all these years, because he's really had terrible contract cycles.
05:13Not due to himself, just with teams folding.
05:15So that's awesome to see him get an awesome ride.
05:19Seems like just yesterday I had a 124 plate on my bike and I was trying to make the show.
05:25Damn camera crew.
05:28I'm Dakota Norton.
05:29I'm from Knoxville, Tennessee.
05:31And, yeah, I ride for Mondraker Factory Racing.
05:36Dakota Norton is the werewolf, he's the wild child of downhill.
05:40He's 32 years old, but he's the one that we are rooting for to get that debut victory right.
05:44In years past, I think Dakota Norton's always had support, but he's also somewhat been in the shadow.
05:51We've seen him before be in the shadow of Aaron Gwynn and that particular team developing bikes, testing bikes.
05:57Dakota was a rider on my race program the last two race seasons before this year.
06:04Friend.
06:06Sometimes I was his.
06:07Emotional support, whatever you want to call it.
06:11And here he comes and he does go faster.
06:143.42, Dakota Norton takes the lead.
06:17Intense on top for now.
06:21He showed up in 2024 with a brand new team around him.
06:25A full-on factory team.
06:27The rebound route feels really slow, like, in here.
06:30Like, so slow.
06:31So maybe going up in air will help that.
06:33All the bells and whistles, you name it, he's got it.
06:35And the bike that he wanted is underneath him now.
06:39The team move from him, it was a really good career move.
06:42It's what he's been looking for for a long time.
06:44A stable program, solid salary, solid support.
06:47But big team, different personalities, being mostly Europe-based.
06:51How was it?
06:52Good.
06:52Start some time.
06:53Just give it quick.
06:54Quick watch and bring it to go.
06:55Yeah, quick watch.
06:56You don't want to stop that?
06:57Currently thinking somewhere to the same.
07:03With that comes a lot of pressure.
07:06Because it's all good when it's good.
07:07But the moment it doesn't click and the moment it goes bad,
07:10that's a lot of weight to carry around all the time.
07:13The new team structure is led by Jorge Garcia.
07:16He's a first time team manager tasked with bringing the Mondraker downhill bike back onto the podium.
07:21The Spanish brand's last win was five long years ago in 2019.
07:27My name is Jorge Garcia.
07:29I'm team manager at Mondraker Factory Racing.
07:33Our team is just maybe bigger and with more means.
07:39Our main target was to at least jump on the podium once and to be able to provide the guys
07:45the tools to get back where they were.
07:47He has everything he needs to win races and be successful.
07:51He can just focus on riding his bike and not feel like he's having to fight for his ride every
07:55single year.
07:57I still help him with everything I can, but I think he's his own man.
08:01Give us a good show.
08:04He knows how to handle himself and he can get the job done if he needs to.
08:09I got camera boys now. What a crazy turn of events.
08:14It's a different world now, eh?
08:16I like it.
08:19It's way better than being the underdog.
08:22It's at the right time, I think.
08:30Matt Walker crosses the line and goes fastest by four tenths of a second.
08:34Yeah, look at what it means to him.
08:37Let's go, boy.
08:43Ronan Dunn goes fastest in Fort William.
08:48Here is Dakota Norton.
08:50He switched teams in this off-season.
08:52So excited for him this year, man.
08:54You just feel like that win is just any moment now.
09:01Getting out of the gate strong, he's one of those riders that tends to just build as the course goes
09:05on.
09:11They are an out-and-out race machine, these new Laundrakers are.
09:20Yeah, he's extending, but this is what I would expect.
09:222.3 seconds in the third split now, Dakota Norton.
09:25Can he get his first GCI Dino World Cup win?
09:29It's still green by some margin for Dakota Norton here.
09:39Choosing to tuck instead of pedal between those couple of top jumps, always a hard call to make, but it's
09:44gotta get low here.
09:51He was 10th at the UCI World Championships here last summer.
09:55Where is he gonna stack up this year?
10:011.7 seconds faster than Greg Williamson.
10:05Attaboy.
10:06How's that for margin?
10:09Got the hair just flowing nicely out the back.
10:13It's a look, and it's working for Dakota Norton.
10:16Bruni now, heads down towards the line.
10:19Bruni takes the lead by 3 seconds.
10:24Dakota Norton can't believe it, but has to applaud him.
10:29I've been fortunate to manage Dakota's career for the last 7 years,
10:34and he never really understood that he belonged at the top.
10:40When he did get on the podium, he felt like a visitor or a tourist.
10:46And that's so bizarre to me.
10:48To think that I could, like, win a World Cup.
10:50Or, like, I could have my day.
10:52Okay, let's see here.
10:54It's a classic.
10:56Imposter syndrome.
10:58Self-doubt?
10:59Interesting.
11:00Fear of being exposed as a fraud.
11:03Wow.
11:03Okay.
11:04Can be as simple as not feeling like you have the typical look of a winner?
11:08Or something as specific as preferring a different handlebar setup?
11:13Well, that explains a lot.
11:15Running up on them, bounce off walls, against the oars, and I never take a load.
11:20The most talked about set of handlebars.
11:22What he wants from a bike isn't what everyone wants,
11:25and we've seen that with the high bars, the chopper bars,
11:27that everyone loves to joke about.
11:31I think they look sick.
11:33Most dudes run their bars low, and they're in, like, a hinged position.
11:38People are like, you've lost it. You're crazy.
11:40And then you start going fast, it's even better.
11:46Do I put my bars up?
11:47This guy's smoking me.
11:48Everyone watching is like, he's doing something right.
11:51He's got a whole vibe about him.
11:53Like, his hair, his riding style.
11:56You want to ride the chariot?
11:59I've stopped caring about the norm.
12:05Anytime you want, you can ride the chariot.
12:08You can do a test day on it.
12:09I come from motocross, and I ride in a very stood-up position on my motocross bike,
12:14and that's what made me the rider I am.
12:17So, just lean into it.
12:24Every time these race takes, people come around, I fall on my ass.
12:29He came into the sport later than most.
12:31Those first few years, he came in kind of as a motocross kid.
12:38He definitely went a non-traditional path to get where he's at right now.
12:47I rode dirt bikes until I was maybe 14, and started racing BMX.
12:55I didn't even know downhill existed.
12:57I rode a downhill bike for the first time at 22 years old in 2014.
13:04And, like, won my first pro downhill race, and I was like, whoa.
13:08By 2015, I was racing World Cups.
13:10I had a 54th place at Wyndham.
13:16Got 54th, watched Aaron come down through the finish line, win the whole deal.
13:20Aaron Gwynn is going to smash his tie!
13:22Here he comes!
13:24Oh, look at the tie!
13:26That is absolutely ludicrous, ladies and gentlemen!
13:29It was like the American dream.
13:32Like, that is the coolest thing ever.
13:36It just, like, hooked me on downhill.
13:39I was like, at the end of two years, if I don't make enough money to, like, support myself,
13:42and not have to, like, take money from my family to race,
13:46because my family doesn't really have a lot, it was like, I'm done.
13:52It was really hard to, like, do it the way I did.
13:56Always on the limit.
14:00It's hard.
14:01What part of it was hard?
14:03Physically?
14:04Psychologically?
14:05Financially?
14:09Every part of it.
14:10Every part of it was hard.
14:12For sure.
14:15Yeah, super hard.
14:17Are you okay talking about this?
14:19Yeah, no, it's all good.
14:21Hold on.
14:22Let me walk over here and come back.
14:26It was gnarly.
14:27I'm okay now.
14:28But, like, how much risk I took?
14:30Getting in the starting gate, if I don't do this right now, it's not going to happen.
14:34Like, there's no next race.
14:37Every weekend was do or die.
14:39Dakota's your classic underdog.
14:41He's maybe not had such family support all the way through, and they've had to fight tooth and nail just
14:47to race bikes.
14:50Every dude that I stood on a podium with at Fort William, they all were prodigies. They all came through
14:55juniors.
14:56This is what they were doing when I was carrying boxes and landscaping and whatever ever job I was doing
15:04at the time.
15:09He's a busy man.
15:11He's been working on his house stuff and his property a lot for the past two years.
15:15He fills every second of the day with doing something, usually.
15:19He just drives it all the time.
15:22Fills stuff, mows stuff.
15:24He loves it.
15:25All he talks about is instructive.
15:30I don't think he's the best at resting.
15:32I think he always wants to be doing something.
15:35Daniel!
15:35I'm going out of legend.
15:37When you hear my name, you're going to respect it.
15:39Cause I did it every time that I said it.
15:41Boy, I'm going out of legend.
15:43I've been working 24-something.
15:45They ain't give me nothing easy.
15:46So I had to go and do it.
15:48I'm a legend.
15:48They gon' try to act like we ain't had it.
15:50They can't open shit.
15:53I need some tin snips.
15:57I don't have time to nap.
15:59Honestly, I would love to have a life that's that simple.
16:02That I could nap in the middle of the day.
16:04Like a real athlete.
16:06You don't like race World Cups at the highest level
16:09and build a house in your spare time and have time to nap.
16:14He's definitely worked his ass off to get here.
16:16He's one of the most deserving riders on the circuit for where he is.
16:20So it's pretty sick to see why he's made of himself.
16:27I don't know.
16:27Nobody walk backward.
16:28My shoulder will pop out.
16:30What am I going to do with all these dates?
16:32Put laxatives in.
16:33It's the only competition.
16:37You hungry, bro?
16:39You on a date, dude?
16:40No, I'm alright.
16:41No, dates, bro.
16:43It's good.
16:44Vegetarian.
16:44Maybe halfway down.
16:46Maybe a couple of dates.
16:46Yeah, maybe.
16:47A little snack, you know?
16:49Date Daddy.
16:49You know I'm dated up.
16:51Can I interest you in a few dates?
16:54They're not that bad, are they?
16:56You saying they're dusty?
17:00Less chat, more focus.
17:02Can we get back to work here?
17:05A rare new venue for the World Series.
17:08Fast, loose and wide enough to reward unconventional line choice.
17:12It suits riders like the Colton Orton and teammate Ronan Dunn.
17:17I also coach Ronan and those guys, I don't think they'd want to look at each other as a one
17:21and two rider.
17:22They want to look at each other as pretty much equals.
17:25I mean, I'm not going to say that I'm the top guy because Ronan could easily get some really good
17:29results.
17:30There you go.
17:31But I definitely have the most experience on the team.
17:34And I'm happy to lead with that experience.
17:38Your teammate is one of your biggest competitors, really.
17:42You always want to beat the dude that has all the same equipment as you.
17:49We all have the speed to win it.
17:50I think it's more a mental game now.
17:53But yeah, you just want to be the fastest, really.
18:01Last round, running up the court.
18:03Shooting fresh.
18:05Yeah, we in the sports.
18:06Don just throwing caution to the wind as he is known to do.
18:10Whoa, it's not fast.
18:15How you got?
18:16You're the one.
18:17Yeah, it's solid.
18:18Thanks, mate.
18:19You're the one.
18:27Flawless and controlled behind Norton's high bars.
18:35Dakota wins the semi-final.
18:38He'll have the privilege of dropping in last tomorrow.
18:42Good.
18:43Half second when I hit my ass.
18:45Oh, you're stuck into the finish.
18:46Well, something about tomorrow.
18:49Nice one.
18:50You're right.
18:53It's been a long time coming.
18:55To see him get the consistency now.
18:57Just settle into that, not suck gas.
18:59It's like, just happy on all.
19:01See him happy and chill.
19:04Winning that semi-final gave him the first taste
19:07of what it's like to win a consequential mountain bike race.
19:11He hugged me and said, thank you for believing in me.
19:14He's a fast hippie.
19:17Insane.
19:20It was the first time I really saw that he was comfortable
19:23as the number one qualifier and having all these other guys
19:25pat him on the back saying, great job, man.
19:28You deserve this.
19:29Good job, brother.
19:31Nice job.
19:33Holy hell.
19:35How'd you go, bud?
19:36Fourth.
19:37Fucking hell.
19:38Good job, buddy.
19:40And you won.
19:40Jeez.
19:41Yeah, well, I won the pre-race to the race.
19:44Yeah, nice job.
19:45So you could say that.
19:47Winning the semi-finals makes you the last rider down on finals day.
19:51It definitely can come with a little extra pressure if you're not careful.
19:55I think that the voice in his head is probably going a million miles an hour.
20:00More and more, brother.
20:01More and more.
20:01More support, more points.
20:03More support, more points.
20:04More compression, more points.
20:05I've struggled to see myself as a top guy just because of my own insecurities of believing
20:13in myself.
20:14There's always been so much fear of not ever achieving my goal or going to the next level.
20:20And I'm slowly seeing the things in myself that maybe some of the closest people see
20:26and why they believe in me so much.
20:28So just overall working on my own self-belief.
20:31What do you two got?
20:34What?
20:37Brand new, new.
20:39Come on, you've got to give me knuckies.
20:41Yeah.
20:44You say thank you?
20:48We got it done.
20:50You guys are awesome.
20:54Finals day in Poland.
20:57Can our first place rider from yesterday, Dakota Norton, finally deliver a race win?
21:03You really don't have to do anything crazy.
21:05Everybody makes me feel like I have to.
21:08Yeah, but you don't.
21:08The only reason they're here is because you've been doing you and you're riding really good.
21:15So just trust what you're doing.
21:19I don't know what to do.
21:20I'll give you my best, buddy.
21:22That's all you can do.
21:23You ain't rocket science.
21:25Just go race your bike.
21:27He's really learned over the last year to kind of be more positive, go towards a hard
21:32situation instead of wanting to get away from it.
21:34Just another bike to race.
21:36Exactly.
21:38See you at the bottom.
21:39See you at the bottom.
21:43See you at the bottom.
21:45We were coming to finals with a fourth place of Ronan and a first for Dak.
21:51We were feeling like that we could be really, really dangerous for Sunday.
21:56Ronan Thumbs up next.
21:58Here we go.
21:59From Mondrick or Audrey racing.
22:01Anything could happen.
22:04I've been meaning to do a race running completely.
22:07Just lose all regret for safety and see what happens.
22:10Either crashing or winning.
22:24He's finding that edge a little bit cleaner than he was in the past.
22:28He still rides wide open, but he's got that precision.
22:31Seems like he's maturing a little bit here.
22:33Not overriding the bike too much, but as we know, Ronan will hang it out with the best
22:37of them.
22:40There you go.
22:41He's three hundredths of a second fast.
22:43I'm like Rooney here.
22:44Ronan Dunn.
22:45He's on.
22:46He's on.
22:47He's on.
22:48That's got everyone's attention in the booth.
22:51Puddle, you f***.
22:54He's going to go better today if he can get this Mondraker to the line.
22:57The prototype machine, not quite assume him yet, but...
23:00It's going to be tied.
23:01Four tenths of a second.
23:07Inside over the stomp.
23:08Yeah, that was nice.
23:09Carries good speed out of it.
23:10He can lose Parkwood slightly.
23:12Heads towards the hot seat.
23:13Oh, man.
23:14Heads towards the finish line.
23:16And crosses it.
23:17Rooney 2 goes fastest.
23:20The Irishman's bottom of the hot seat in 2024.
23:24Win.
23:25Win.
23:25Win.
23:26Win.
23:27Win.
23:27Win.
23:28Win.
23:28Win.
23:29Win.
23:31Win.
23:32Oh, sick!
23:47When you're the last man down the hill on race day...
23:50It's a unique position.
23:52You're up there warming up.
23:54And your competitors are dropping in in front of you.
24:02you can hear the crowd at the bottom of the hill really far away
24:14you're just kind of like on your own last guy down the hill
24:21definitely is a lot of pressure when you go down you're like i'm gonna
24:25win it or whoever's in the hot seat is going to win it
24:29oh look at that big expectations well somebody on a mondraker is going to win today
24:44here we are in the strike

25:12what can he do today to cool and orton leaves the start hop let's go for mondraker factory racing
25:19he's got to get out of the gate hard here he needs to take on the time of his teammate
25:23roonan dunn from ireland can the american displace don
25:28total different style up top not pedaling just yeah tucking and pumping
25:32yeah you're gonna see this out of dakota he makes it look really easy
25:35very deceptive to watch but he's so precise and sneaky
25:40no
25:41yeah
25:42hey he goes down slides out before the left hander roonen dunn can't believe it hands
25:51over the head
25:53heartbreak for dakota norton though
25:55aron you have to feel for him
25:56Ah!
26:00Oh!
26:02This has been a great weekend for Dak.
26:04Qualifying fastest, he's on pace.
26:06He is one of those guys that can win him.
26:10I'm so sorry, buddy.
26:11Congratulations, buddy.
26:13Thank you, John.
26:14But it is going to be the youngster Ronan Dung
26:18to win his first UCA Downhill World Cup.
26:23It's OK.
26:25No, it's OK.
26:26I'm sorry, baby.
26:31I'm so sorry.
26:33And you know what?
26:34You were the only one that went there, and that's why.
26:47Mano.
26:47Oh, yeah
26:48It's OK, anyway.
26:56Ronan Dund
26:57The Irishman.
27:08Ronan Dung
27:10Wins, MBS Gobella!
27:14You know, at least now you got that first-place
27:17qualified out of the way.
27:18Comes with some shit luck, unfortunately.
27:25Hey, Markhan, can I give a single shot?
27:28Yeah, I do.
27:29Thanks for coming to watch me, Harry.
27:36It would be too good to be true if I could qualify first
27:39and actually come down and win the f***ing hurts.
27:41It would almost just be too good to be true.
27:46Challenges are what mold us and what shape us.
27:48Without challenges, successes wouldn't be so sweet.
27:52I'm outgrowing this, dude.
27:53Can you believe this?
27:55When we built this little mantle, there were three of them.
27:58No number one trophy. Maybe that one can go here.
28:03Trying to win a World Cup.
28:04It's kind of why I do everything I do.
28:07I've already gone farther than I ever thought I would.
28:10Part of my contentment in racing comes from all the things
28:14I'm working on outside of racing.
28:17I think if I can get more consistency with life,
28:20now getting my house done,
28:21I think my results will get more consistent.
28:24I need a guess.
28:26With like a new team, every week is like a new learning process.
28:30You want things to happen so fast,
28:33and that's not really the reality of how the world works.
28:36You just gotta get there slowly.
28:39Trust the process.
28:41You have to have patience.
28:44Cause you know me.
28:45I am Mr. Patient.
28:46Definitely.
28:50Being able to kind of keep your head up when things aren't going right
28:53and kind of like learn to believe like I belong at the top here.
28:58So many times I've been so close to winning,
29:00and I've been the fastest and made a mistake
29:03that caused me not to win races.
29:05And it's like I'm getting to the point now
29:07where I do believe that I can win a race.
29:09Like when it happens, it'll happen.
29:11I don't think he's been gifted anything.
29:14And now he's starting to show that he deserves everything he's got.
29:18Now as I'm maturing as an athlete
29:21and I have more confidence in myself,
29:23I'm allowing myself to get the results that I am.
29:27Okay, it's about to get real.
29:29It's about to get real.
29:31Okay, Dakota Norton.
29:34So that brings a sense of I'm no longer the imposter.
29:37I am one of the big boys.
29:38I said, Tim, when we go to a race now, Dakota,
29:41your name comes up as a potential winner.
29:43He continues to push and accelerate forward.
29:47He's 3.9 seconds up.
29:50Dakota Norton is putting something special down here this afternoon.
30:01He's 100% a rider.
30:03If he can link this run together,
30:04I believe this is a track he could win on.
30:06Launches over that outside block.
30:08Don't even pitter-patter it.
30:09Thanks for coming.
30:09He's 4.2 seconds up.
30:12Come on, buddy. Let's go.
30:12Dakota Norton is back and he's fired up.
30:165.9 seconds up as he comes into the finish arena.
30:19Over 20 meters.
30:21Careful.
30:22Oh, oh, oh.
30:22Come on, it's incredible.
30:26He clicks another gear.
30:28He powers to the line.
30:29Dakota Norton crosses the line.
30:316 seconds up.
30:33Wow.
30:34That was incredible.
30:36Dakota Norton, that is what we want to see from the young man on the Mondraker Factory racing outfits.
30:42I want to see it.
30:45Doug put an insane run together.
30:49Started to see riders coming by and being far, far away from his time.
30:55Loic Brutti to the line.
30:56He's got in store a .347, which is good enough right now for the second fastest time of the day.
31:03Ronan Dunn sprints across the line with a 3.48.6 in the third position.
31:10Man, that was a big run out of Dakota.
31:12The young Canadian crosses the line and goes second.
31:16The last man down the hill, Emery Pierron.
31:20He's charging down the hill, he gets the free.
31:23Oh, wow, this is one of those runs.
31:25Look at that line!
31:26Oh, dude!
31:29Ladies and gentlemen.
31:33Emery Pierron claims the win.
31:37Just when you thought Dakota Norton was going to claim his debut victory,
31:41Emery Pierron doing the unthinkable in the rain.
31:45Just for a glimpse there, I thought maybe this may actually be it.
31:48And it seems like every time I start to believe it,
31:51it's just kind of, it's like, oh, too soon.
31:54Get him there.
31:57It took a freakish alien run from Emery
32:01to rob Dakota of a run that he put in
32:04that beat Loic Bruni,
32:05and he's a five-time world champion.
32:07He's playing the game better than anybody else out there,
32:10so his time will come, and we all know.
32:16At 32 years old, yeah, I'm old,
32:19but I have so much experience that I can lean on.
32:23I think that I'm in the best position
32:25to be an extraordinary version of myself.
32:34My girl, you're not letting me finish!
32:40Come on!
32:43Where to?
32:44Never done that before?
32:45Never done that.
32:46Excellent.
32:47Where I started to where I am is honestly unbelievable to me.
32:52I'm so content with my growth this year.
32:55I'm loving riding my bike more than I ever have.
32:58I'm being kinder to myself,
33:00talking to myself more positively,
33:02and I think that's the biggest part
33:04that's going to propel me from being where I am now
33:07to the person that can actually do it
33:09is just the work I'm doing on myself.
33:29It's questionable whether they have that
33:31in development in mountain bikes.
33:34I knew I wanted to do it all in.
33:37F*** this is so hard.
33:38It's so quickly hated.
33:40You broke tight in Brazil.
33:41Come on, Tav.
33:42You want to invest?
33:43Push the yo-yo zone.
33:44I don't know what I want.
33:46And I've been on the grind.
33:48Didn't get much sleep in my life.
33:56Ain't got no witnesses.
34:00I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:02I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:04I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:07I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:09I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:09I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:09I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:09I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:10I'm feeling that heat in the night.
34:10I'm feeling that heat in the night.
