00:20hindi lamang kasuota ng mga Filipino designer

00:24kundi maging ang mismong makatulong sa mga kabataang iskolar ng sining.
00:29Fashion events like this elevates the industry,
00:33the fashion industry,
00:34because maraming trabaho
00:36from all of the simstress to the workers
00:39and most especially from the live events industry.
00:43So ang mga shows sa ganito are very important.
00:46And to all the producers who are willing to make this kind of event,
00:51we are so thankful.
00:53Ang tema para sa taong ito ay ASEAN Excellence,
00:56Unity on the Runway.
00:58Dito ipapakita ang mayamang kultura ng mga bansang kasapi
01:02ng Association of Southeast Asian Nations o ASEAN,
01:06kabilang na ang Pilipinas.
01:09I am assigned like Vietnam and Myanmar to be my inspiration.
01:15The designers already pushed Filipiniana to the core.
01:18Now it's ASEAN, it's getting wider.
01:20So it's our first time to do something like this
01:23and I hope everyone will support us.
01:25I was chosen to represent Cambodia and Thailand.
01:30It's a combination of Shutai,
01:33which is the national costume of Thailand,
01:35and Sampot, which is the national costume of Cambodia.
01:39So I'm trying to mix the two designs
01:42and hopefully I could bring out the historical costume of the two countries.
01:49I was tasked to do designs inspired by Malaysia and Singapore.
01:55I want my clothes to be cerebral.
01:57I want people to think.
01:58For Singapore, I love Singapore, especially Sentosa.
02:03So my inspiration would be the orchids of Sentosa
02:07and the peacocks of Sentosa.

02:26It is already going international as of now.
02:29But I see that a lot of our materials
02:32will be appearing in foreign runways.
02:35A lot of the inspirations from our different wonderful islands,
02:40different cultures natin dito,
02:41makikita natin all over the world.
02:44May responsibility namin to make sure
02:46na we will wear the clothes with confidence
02:49na ang darating nito ay high fashion.
02:53Hopefully we will do justice
02:55na magugustuhan nyo kung ano yung mga susuotin namin
02:58at kung ano yung ipapakita namin sa inyo.
