00:41Engineer Edilu Tejido, the provincial engineer of Oriental Mindoro, appeared before the Sandigan Bayan 6th Division as a witness for
00:48the prosecution.
00:49During the hearing, the defense questioned the inspection conducted on the said flood control project.
00:54The defense asked whether San West Corporation, the contractor of the project, was properly notified about the inspection conducted on
01:01September 7.
01:02According to Tejido, they informed personnel who were at the site.
01:05He said they also called San West Corporation but there were allegedly no available representatives from the company at the
01:12time.
01:12The hearing lasted for more than an hour.
01:15Prior to this, the bail hearing on the request for provisional liberty filed by nine accused DPWH officials was concluded
01:22with a resolution now being awaited.
01:24Former Akubikul representative Zaldico and other accused in the case remain at large.
