00:01Anna says, hey, everybody, I heard Andy talking about her twin nieces, finding about whether or not they're identical or
00:08fraternal.
00:09And it made me smile because I'm actually pregnant with twins myself.
00:13Ah, congratulations.
00:15Anna said, I've been reading everything I can about having twins, and I keep running into one topic that totally
00:21contradicts itself.
00:23Whether or not to tell them their birth order.
00:26Oh.
00:27Some articles and parents say sharing who's older can create a weird power dynamic.
00:36Others say it doesn't matter at all and only becomes a thing if you make it one.
00:41So Anna says, now I'm overthinking it.
00:44Do I tell them?
00:45Do I not?
00:46Is this something that actually matters long term?
00:48Or am I just spiraling because I'm pregnant with two babies at once?
00:52Would love to hear from other twin parents or twins themselves.
00:56What would you do?
00:57Whoa.
00:58That's so interesting.
01:00Because I think it does create an interesting dynamic.
01:02My wife's a twin.
01:03Okay.
01:04A boy-girl twin.
01:05She is the younger of the two.
01:07Now, keeping in mind that a lot of the twins are born as a C-section.
01:12Right.
01:12Now, you can't explain that to children.
01:14So it doesn't really matter to them because Emily was in charge of her little brother.
01:19Her older brother.
01:20Whoops.
01:20All the time.
01:21She was the bossy one.
01:23She was potty trained first because she's a girl.
01:25Yeah.
01:25So to them, it really didn't matter until like it was front seat in the car.
01:31So it doesn't matter.
01:31Here we go.
