00:00A 53-year-old Senegalese national has been identified as the man who unleashed a deadly
00:05rampage in the busy entertainment district of Austin, Texas in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
00:10Authorities say the gunman began with a drive-by shooting, first opening fire from the window of
00:15his vehicle as he drove past Buford's Bar. He then parked and continued on foot, raining bullets down
00:22on the area before being killed by police who were responding to the incident. Now, they were on the
00:26scene practically immediately, in less than a minute, 57 seconds to be exact. As of Sunday night,
00:33two people were dead with 14 others injured. Video footage shows the man, a naturalized American
00:38citizen who at one point lived in the Bronx, toting a rifle and wearing a sweatshirt with the words
00:43Property of Allah on it. Law enforcement sources suggested that the bloodbath was potentially an
00:49act of vengeance over the U.S. attack on Iran. Sources told the Post that the killer was possibly
00:54wearing a shirt under that sweatshirt with the Iranian flag or other Iran-related imagery.
00:59Given all that, the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force is on the scene
01:03and investigating the incident as a possible terror attack.
