00:00How does it feel to be here with your pit cast mates and
00:03being celebrated by your fellow actors?
00:05It's really incredible to be here, love seeing all the familiar faces,
00:10all these people that I've watched on TV for years and years and years.
00:13And now, to get to be in the same room as them is literally a dream come true.
00:18And then also, Issa is here.
00:20What the hell are you doing here?
00:21But other than that, everything's going great.
00:25I mean, season two, lots of tension between your two characters.
00:29But really, a lot of tension between your character and Robbie as well.
00:33What can you talk about what your character is going through this season?
00:37Uh, trying to repair, trying to, you know, I think Langdon made a right mess of a lot of
00:44a lot of things and a lot of relationships last year.
00:47And I think he's coming back doing his best to do the repair work that needs to happen.
00:53And, you know, I think it's not going as planned.
00:57But it's really exciting.
00:58This is a crazy carpet.
01:00There's hands are flying in.
01:02But, but yeah, exactly, not going as planned.
01:04But anything you can tease about what's to come?
01:08I've voted before.
01:09No, no.
01:11Um, yeah, no, we, I think everybody has seen through episode eight now.
01:16So we're halfway home.
01:17So I've got about, uh, I've got about seven more hours to get him to talk to me.
01:22That's what we're looking forward to.
01:24Given that your character is dealing with addiction and now a recovering addict, what
01:29kind of things do people come up and tell you about the show?
01:32Like, do people ever thank you for the representation?
01:34Yeah, no, it's been, it's been really amazing.
01:37Uh, the addiction issue is an issue that is very close to me and I take very seriously.
01:42And, uh, that community has reached out, uh, both in person.
01:49I'm part of this community.
01:50And so to feel supported by them, uh, has been incredible and some in a, in a real responsibility
01:58to make sure that I do it with dignity.
02:00And I also do it with honesty.
02:02Like, I, I don't want to, you know, I don't want to gloss over the ugly parts of it, but
02:06I also want to present the story of addiction as to being a story of hope that like, cause I
02:13do
02:14believe that recovery is possible and redemption is possible.
02:17And I think the show believes that.
02:19And so that's an amazing thing to be a part of.
02:21I appreciate you sharing that.
02:23And I feel like this season is really full of a lot of poignant storylines, especially with
02:28nurse Dana, with the sexual assault storyline, with the whole episode with Louie.
02:32But also, while there are all these heartfelt moments in the show, people also on TikTok
02:36love having fun with it.
02:38People are loving nurse Dana's one liners.
02:40Do you have a favorite nurse Dana one liner?
02:42Oh, it's gotta be baby Jane Doe.
02:44Of course, of course.
02:48Exactly.
02:48Do you ever see any of like the TikTok fan edits or fan theories?
02:52Or do you stay away from that?
02:53Uh, I, I have had to, uh, put up increasingly more and more walls around that.
02:58It was really fun when it first started happening and I was like,
03:01Oh my God, everybody's having so much fun on Twitter.
03:03This is amazing.
03:04And then it got to be, it got to be like, I was like, Oh wait, this actually isn't for
03:08me.
03:08This is for the fans.
03:10This is a fun place for them to have fun.
03:12This is not for me.
03:13And so I got off of Twitter and then there for a while, my girlfriend was like telling me what
03:18I need to know.
03:19And then it got too intense for her.
03:20And so now she's off Twitter and said, No, I have no idea what happens over there.
03:23I have no idea.
03:24Like blissfully ignorant.
03:25I don't need to know.
03:26Yeah, it's not for me.
03:32I have no idea.
03:32Tomorrow you're taking and behold over your career or a year and a matter.
03:35You can see there as well.
03:36Welcome back to my field.
