00:39What's up, my name's Ethan Tash, I'm on tour opening for the Van Camino and Almost Monday.
00:46And this is our van, it's a 2014 Chevy Express, some call it the beast, others call it dumper.
00:55And let's take a look.
00:57Alright so this right here is Wyatt Moran.
00:59He's actually the owner of the van.
01:02This is his car that he drives around Nashville.
01:06And up here, I mean he actually, it's not really a rule, but he kind of does take most
01:11of the driving, I think maybe naturally.
01:13I usually start, I start in the morning most of the time and do like three or four hours
01:19and then other people will usually tap in when I'm kind of, when I'm hurt.
01:23Yep.
01:24And since this tour started in New York and ends in Nashville, him and Ethan back there
01:31actually drove to meet us and they just drove themselves all the way.
01:36And there was another person in the car, but she's not here.
01:40Usually we're listening to music.
01:42Like, long drive days, we'll maybe sprinkle in a podcast if we're feeling crazy.

02:00Music, music kind of depends on who's driving.
02:02Usually the person that's driving will be in control of the music.
02:07So we go, we go back and forth a lot on what we're listening to, but it's a lot of
02:12everything.

02:14Oh yeah, that's actually a great point.
02:16The driver side speakers don't work.
02:22So driving in the van and listening to music is kind of like when you were on the bus in
02:27like elementary school and like you've got a headphone and the person next to you has
02:31a headphone and you're like only hearing like the claps or like the background vocals on one side
02:37instead of the whole picture.
02:39So that's super fun and it's something that I need to get fixed in this car.
02:43So you want to talk about all these guys up here?
02:45Yeah, and so we obviously have some co-captains up here.

02:53We've got leaf, the eggplant, and broccoli, and then this is Christopher for some reason.
03:07I don't know why all of the other ones have names that are apt.
03:12He's a new addition.
03:12Yeah, Christopher's new, so he's still kind of, we're still kind of figuring out his vibe.
03:16All right, so in the middle seat we've got bass player and sometimes synth player and
03:22oftentimes harmony extraordinaire, Michael Asuso.
03:26And in the back we've got the other Ethan, Ethan Standard.
03:30This is his first tour with us and he's playing drums.
03:33I've kind of started taking this spot the most because on this tour we just got this new switch
03:39mount that it's not really where it's supposed to be but we figured out a way to make it work.
03:46We've been playing a lot of Mario Kart worlds.
03:49Usually in the cards with two players but we've got some intense four player green room battles
03:55too.
03:55So Mikey, this is usually where I am.
03:59You know, you wake up in the morning and you try to get to the first spot that you want
04:04and this is usually, this is my doja.
04:06This is what I do.
04:09Usually Ethan will sit right here, this Ethan, and we'll be viciously going at Mario Kart.
04:16I think I've actually won one of the biggest tournaments in the car.
04:23You know, you get pretty dizzy.
04:25So if you have Advil, Tylenol around, it's kind of nice to pop one of those before you
04:29play.
04:31Yeah, we're just drinking water.
04:33You know, I'm trying not to take too many pee stops but yeah, so it's kind of what we
04:39do.
04:39Okay, so Wyatt kind of has this nice little setup that I have dipped my fingers into because
04:48I like coffee.
04:50But he's got Grindr, OXO, OXO, some people call it.
04:56We stopped at this place in Philly.
04:59Uh, Persimmon.

05:18I don't know what that's about but anyways, coffee, fun, middle C, baby.

05:51I'm usually in like the co-captain seat, second seat up there but, uh, sometimes I'll
05:56like take naps or read back here too.
05:58It really depends if someone's trying to sleep, I think they'll probably go back there and
06:02then we'll get two people sleeping at the same time maybe.
06:05Or even three.
06:06If, uh, someone can fall asleep sitting up.
06:08Not me.

06:10Yeah, I can somehow do it.
06:11Uh, but if we're both playing Switch we'll probably be in the middle seat right there and, uh, yeah.
06:20I think that's kind of how it goes.

06:23That's kind of what we're working with.
06:26Uh, this fits just about, or it kind of just fits everything that we have.
06:32We have, uh, we have three guitars, full drum kit, a pedal steel, a couple pedal boards,
06:40four suitcases, and a couple boxes of merch.
06:43And my double guitar case usually goes right along here.
06:46Yeah, so you see this blanket here, uh, sometimes the gear gets a little cold and lonely because
06:51we're all up in the front and whatnot and so I like to tuck it in, let the gear get
06:57some rest too on the long drives.
06:58This is a quilt that my grandparents gave to me when I graduated, uh, from high school.
07:05And so it's got a bunch of different, uh, t-shirts from my life, uh, up until that point, which
07:12was a long time ago now.
07:13Um, but it's all the shirts on the front and then there's a cute little embroidery on the back.
07:19I'm not, I'm blanking on exactly what it says right now, uh, but it's very sweet and I love my
07:25grandparents
07:26and they're very supportive of me and us.
