00:15Hezbollah officially announced its entry into the armed conflict in response to joint aggressions
00:22by the United States and Israel against Iran and claimed responsibility for launching rockets and
00:27missiles against Israel. In retaliation for the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei,
00:33the Lebanese resistance launched a wave of advanced missiles and a barrage of drones
00:38against the Israeli army's Mishmar Al-Karmel missile defence site south of the occupied
00:43city of Haifa. For the first time since the ceasefire in the north, rockets were launched
00:49from Lebanon against Zion's military targets. In this scenario, Hezbollah assured that this
00:55is a legitimate defensive response to Israeli-U.S. aggression against the region.
01:06And the Lebanese Islamic resistance confirmed its participation in the conflict with a
01:11statement that reads, the Islamic resistance carried out an attack in the early hours of
01:16March 2, 2026, with a barrage of precision missiles and swarm of drones targeting the Israeli missile
01:23defence site Mishmar Al-Karmel south of the occupied city of Haifa. Resistance leaders have consistently
01:30stated that the continuation of Israeli aggressions and the killing of our leaders, youth and people,
01:37gives us the right to defend ourselves and respond at the appropriate time and place. The statement
01:44adds, the Israeli enemy cannot continue its aggression which has already lasted 15 months without a warning
01:52response to stop it and withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories. This response is a legitimate
01:58act of self-defence and those responsible as well as those affected must put an end to Israeli-American
02:06aggression against Lebanon.
02:19And in this context, the Israeli-Syanese regime launched several bombings on Beirut, the capital
02:25of Lebanon, in retaliation for Hezbollah's missile attack. The Israeli army began an offensive against
02:31key positions of the Lebanese resistance movement because they opposed the political interests of Washington,
02:37Israel and Tel Aviv. Israeli occupation forces attacked the Dahir district in Beirut as well as areas of
02:45Haruf and Nabatyeh in southern Lebanon.
