00:00You want an all-star team, Tom?
00:02You got an all-star team.
00:03World Series champion, World Series champion,
00:06looking to do it three times in a row.
00:07It's the Los Angeles Dodgers.
00:09We go over the lineup here,
00:10and it doesn't seem like it makes any sense.
00:12There is no salary cap, and the Dodgers play it up that way.
00:15Otani, Tucker, Betts, Freeman, Smith, Muncy, Hernandez, Pajes, and Kim.
00:20The best lineup in Major League Baseball.
00:22They hit for average.
00:23They hit for pop.
00:24Everybody's on base.
00:25Speed to move guys over.
00:26And that also includes a guy like Mookie Betts with a down season.
00:29Imagine if he bounces back and gets back to the Mookie Betts we know.
00:32And I did see a, was it the paper out there, the post in Los Angeles,
00:36saying like, hey, Freddie, you better play a little bit better this season.
00:38This team has way too much talent through that one through nine, Tom.
00:42They'll be favorites just about every game we go through.
00:45It's going to be every game.
00:46It's going to be favorites by $2, $3, whatever you want to call it.
00:50They have a good bench.
00:51Listen, Mookie Betts started off the season really rough last year
00:54when they went to play the international games in Japan.
00:57He got sick, he lost like 20 pounds, and he just had a rough time coming back.
01:01He was missing, you know, his timing at the plate.
01:03He went through stretches where he was 0 for 20, 0 for 30 in a row.
01:07But even if he does not a full bounce, actually, even if he's half better, right,
01:1150% better than he was last year, that's an unbelievable booster lineup,
01:14knowing that they added Kyle Tucker, knowing that they still have Freddie Freeman.
01:18We're talking about four or five hitters at the top of the lineup who could all legitimately
01:22or have hit for 30, 40 home runs, which is unbelievable to think of.
01:26And still, the bottom portion of that lineup, Muncie, you went through struggles last year.
01:30Yep.
01:30Hernandez, I guess, and Kim, who's off to a great start.
01:33There's no flaws in it.
01:35And what we always talk about the Dodgers, too, we're going to get to the pitching staff
01:38and the bullpen in just a few moments here, Tom.
01:40But you look at the Dodgers.
01:41It's always like, you know, they have the double shot on the season.
01:44All right, here's our projected lineup to start the season.
01:46If things aren't working well at the deadline, we have more money, ammunition, and prospects.
01:50We can go out and get maybe the best pitcher out there or the best hitter that is available.
01:54And also, you're just looking to say, Tomer is not a sprint like last year.
01:58They didn't have the most wins in Major League Baseball.
02:00But once they got to the playoffs, everybody's like, you've got to be kidding me with this lineup.
02:04The pitching staff they're bringing to the table right now and also that lineup here,
02:07it's just going to wreck and do damage.
02:08And they did that.
02:09But then again, still got to the World Series and had to show some moxie
02:13and winning Game 7 on the road in Toronto to be a champion again back-to-back.
