00:06 a playoff run this year.

00:08 - Well, you know, Donny, it's a great question

00:10 because they were the worst team in Major League Baseball

00:13 after the All-Star break.

00:14 At one point, they were 12 and 29

00:16 after they lost to the Rays in back-to-back games.

00:19 This was last week.

00:21 This was less than a week ago.

00:23 And then they went to Washington

00:25 and they just carved them apart.

00:26 The Mets carved Washington apart too.

00:28 I think Washington's gonna lose a lot of games

00:30 the rest of the season.

00:31 But the surprise, I think, Donny, was last night.

00:34 I think that's the kind of game

00:36 that will get the fans back on board.

00:39 They haven't been relevant in September.

00:41 And a lot of the people were joking with me last night,

00:43 when was the last time that anybody in South Florida

00:46 cared about the Marlins when the Dolphins season begins?

00:49 And they're gonna care this year.

00:52 So it remains to be seen, I think,

00:54 if they can keep it going.

00:55 They have the league's toughest schedule

00:56 over the next two weeks.

00:58 I would say, guys, if Miami is still in this thing

01:02 in a week and a half,

01:04 I think they've got a great shot to get there.

01:05 But when you're talking about playing the Dodgers,

01:08 the Phillies, the Braves, the Brewers seven times,

01:12 they're gonna have to earn their way there.
