01:11The answer is, perhaps, neither.
01:16Finding the perfect balance between drag and downforce might be the best optimal path for
01:24an EV hypercar.
01:26So, we decided to push the boundary of aerodynamic efficiency and forge a new way forward.
01:33First of all, the Xiaomi Vision GT is sculpted by the wind.
01:42Our idea is to meet our aerodynamic target without an extra pattern.
01:51This mindset requires us to think less is more.
01:56When we think about every feature we do, almost every design details should have an aero function.
02:05Not just for aero or not just for aesthetics.
02:09For example, here is our side view.
02:12If you look from the side, you will notice our drive hub designed like a floating teardrop.
02:21Now, here you can see the aero flow path over the roof through the underbody of the cockpit.
02:28The active underfloor at the bottom adjusts the balance of drag and downforce in real time during driving.
02:38Now, let's follow the camera.
02:42Come to the front.
02:45From here, you can see the air entering from the front flowing through the body's cut-out and air channels
02:56and being efficiently expelled from the rear.
03:00This is the path curved by wind.
03:03And the rear design is truly one of a kind.
03:10First, the rear of the cockpit looks like a boat which floats within the ring.
03:18And then the ring itself acts as a massive outlet.
03:23Last but not least, now you step back with the lights on, you immediately see Xiaomi hollow taillight.
03:36These two seamlessly integrated each other make a very, very bold statement.
03:44Now, let's get closer.
03:47You will see there's a tiny hose, many, many tiny hose framing the taillight.
03:54This is our active wave control system.
03:57According to the speed and angle of the car, it actively generates air to guide air flow.
04:05Here you can see the top view.
04:08This is how air flows without system is on.
04:12When the system is on, you can see the dirty air at the rear is pushed further away, reducing drag
04:20on the vehicle.
04:21Compared to the traditional active spoiler, this design works like an invisible hand guiding the air while keeping body clean.
04:34Of course, wheels are important too.
04:38We've designed a special wheel with a vortex wheel cover that sits flush with the tire surface.
04:45Look through the semi-transparent cover, you can see the turbo fine inside.
04:49The pull out air to cool the brakes.
04:52The magic part is here.
04:54We've designed a special magnetic system that when car is in motion, the cover stays still.
05:01Why do we do that?
05:03Because this can efficiently reduce the aerodynamic impact caused by the rotation of the wheel outer surface.
05:12Actually, for the exterior, we have many aero features designed.
05:22Some focus on reducing drag, others generating downforce.
05:27They work perfectly in harmony, complementing each other in precision.
05:32With simulation in the end, we achieved a drag coefficient of 0.29.
05:41The downforce of minus 1.2.
05:45But the most important thing is, with aerodynamic efficiency, 4.1.
05:53What does this mean?
05:55This means, with a super car, electrified, you can use less weight.
06:04Not that super heavy battery, you still can run really fast in the track.
06:11Now, let's come to the interior.
06:17Now, together with me, imagine you are driving a hyper car.
06:23What often comes to your mind?
06:27Take five seconds.

08:31Just like racing on sofa, you can either go all-in or just keep back and relax.
08:39Of course, focus driving are also important.
08:45Here, you can see all physical controls crafted with precision.
08:50Just like building a premium smartphone.
08:54Every time you press the button, it gives you full confidence.
08:59Follow the camera, you can see here is our X-shaped steering wheel.
09:05Steal by wire puts every function within reach.
09:10Blending digital information with physical controls.
09:13When you're hands on the wheel, you have total command.
09:17Of course, we are a tech company, right?
09:20This is not everything.
09:21So, Xiaomi VGT is also a part of our ecosystem.
09:26Just like SU7 and YU7, it can seamlessly integrate with your personal devices.

09:36In the past, we used to care for cars, but now the car cares for you too.
09:41With human, car, home, full ecosystem and AI, Vision GT becomes a customizable partner that truly gets you.
