00:00The coyote couldn't even pick her head up.
00:02She was so weak and lifeless.
00:04She was found loaded up and taking about an hour and a half to get her here.
00:11The vet did not really think she'd even make it through the night,
00:14but she was still breathing in the morning and alert, just unable to move.
00:18In the beginning, I think she was very afraid.
00:21She couldn't react, though, because she couldn't move.
00:24She couldn't stand.
00:28She did not have any visible signs of being attacked.
00:32All of the lab work that we did was coming back normal.
00:37I started physical therapy, trying to get her limbs moving.
00:41It was within two weeks she started picking her head up.
00:48You could see she was pushing up with her front legs.
00:53I do think at some point she did know that she was safe.
01:00The very first time I saw her stand up on all fours, I kind of felt like we'd made it.
01:06Once she moved outside, she was up and mobile.
01:10She was starting to climb on things in that enclosure, jumping around.
01:16You never want them to view a human as friendly and approachable.
01:22I was not hands-on with her anymore.
01:25The goal is always to get them back out into the wild.
01:33From the day she came in till the day she was released was exactly eight weeks.
02:00She knew exactly where she was.
02:08And then just knowing she was going back where she came from and she could rejoin her back.
02:12It was very emotional.
02:14Many tears were shed.
02:15It was very emotional.
02:18It was very emotional.
02:23It was very emotional.
02:23It was very emotional.
02:23It was very emotional.
02:23It was very emotional.
